Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) study the use of empowerment by school administrators and the job motivation of teachers, and 2) examine the relationship between the use of empowerment by school administrators and job motivation of teachers working under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1. The study employed a survey research design with population consisting of 320 teachers in academic year 2022. The samples were categorized using Cohen’s sample size, and were selected by multi-stage random sampling. The instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.975. Mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data. The findings revealed that: 1) the overall empowerment of school administrators and job motivation of teachers were at a high level, and 2) the relationship between using empowerment by school administrators and job motivation of teachers was positively correlated at the highest level with a significance level of .01.
