Abstract
The purposes of this research were to 1) compare students? science learning achievement after learning through STEAM approach efficiency at the criteria level as 70 percent, 2) compare students? creative thinking skills before and after the learning activitiesthrough STEAM approach and 3) study the attitude of students after learning through the STEAM approach. The sample comprised 20 students from Prathomsuksa 4 at a School in Chonburi educational service area office 1. The researcher used 6 lesson plans based on STEAM. The research tools included a science learning achievement test, creative thinking test and attitude toward learning activities through STEAM approach test. The collected data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, one sample t-test and paired t-test.The research findings were summarized as follows: 1) After the experiment,students? science achievement were 85.75 percent which was significantly higher than before at 70 percent with a statistical significance at the .05 level. 2) Students gained higher creative thinking scores after learning through the STEAM approach than before at the .05 significant level. 3) Students? attitude towards learning activities through the STEAM approach were at the highest level.
