Abstract
งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้มุ่งศึกษาลักษณะของผู้ก่อการร้ายที่ตัวละครวายร้ายสะท้อนในภาพยนตร์ซูเปอร์ฮีโร การสร้างความโรแมนติกให้กับตัวละครวายร้าย และ สัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้ก่อการร้ายและตัวละครวายร้าย โดยอาศัยแนวคิดการก่อการร้าย แนวคิดโรแมนติกนิยมและการสร้างตัวละคร และ แนวคิดภาพตัวแทนและการจำลอง เพื่อวิเคราะห์ตัวบท (Textual Analysis) ของภาพยนตร์ซูเปอร์ฮีโรดังต่อไปนี้ Avengers: Age of Ultron Captain America: Civil War Black Panther Avengers: Infinity War และ Endgame และ Aquaman ผลการศึกษาพบว่าตัวละครวายร้ายในภาพยนตร์ซูเปอร์ฮีโรเป็นภาพตัวแทนของผู้ก่อการร้ายที่มีความโรแมนติกและความเป็นมนุษย์มากขึ้น ขัดแย้งกับความเชื่อที่ผิดเกี่ยวกับผู้ก่อการร้ายที่แพร่หลาย ภาพของผู้ก่อการร้ายจึงสอดคล้องกับความเป็นจริงมากขึ้น นอกจากนี้ตัวละครวายร้ายยังนำเสนอคุณค่าและปัญหาทางสังคมที่เป็นที่สนใจในสังคมสมัยใหม่ เช่น การเหยียดชาติพันธุ์ การทำลายสิ่งแวดล้อม การใช้ความรุนแรง ฯลฯ ตัวละครวายร้ายที่มีความโรแมนติกยังสะท้อนการถดถอยของความเชื่อมั่นที่สาธารณะมีต่อระบบและสถาบันทางการปกครองที่มีแนวคิดอนุรักษ์นิยม อย่างไรก็ตามภาพยนตร์ซูเปอร์ฮีโรยังคงนำเสนอแนวคิดพัฒนาการนิยมแบบฉาบฉวยและสนับสนุนแนวคิดอนุรักษ์นิยมที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อการทำให้ผู้ชมนิ่งเฉยหรือต่อต้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคม ความย้อนแย้งระหว่างอนุรักษ์นิยมและพัฒนาการนิยมนี้อาจเป็นผลมาจากความพยายามของผู้ผลิตในการสร้างความหลากหลายให้แก่ตัวละครให้สอดคล้องสังคมปัจจุบันเพื่อขยายกลุ่มผู้ชมและผลประโยชน์ทางการเงิน อนึ่งแนวคิดและทฤษฎีทางด้านความงามเช่น ทวินิยม และ กลวิธีการเล่าเรื่องสามารถเสริมสร้างความรู้สึกสมจริงให้แก่ภาพตัวแทนและส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมทางอารมณ์ที่ผู้บริโภคมีต่อภาพตัวแทน
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
This research examines terrorists’ traits which supervillains in superhero films exhibit, romanticization of supervillains, and the relationship between terrorists and supervillains. The concept of Terrorism was utilized in association with Romanticism, Characterization, and Simulacra and Simulation in a textual analysis of these films; Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame, and Aquaman. The findings suggested that supervillains bacame romantic and humanistic simulacra of terrorists which demystified prevalent myths surrounding terrorists. Thus, better accuracy to the real terrorists. Supervillains, moreover, demonstrated social values and issues in accordance with modern society’s such as racial discrimination, environmental exploitation, violence, etc. Furthermore, romantic supervillains indicated a decline of public trust in conservative governing systems and institutes. In contrast, superhero films remained superficial to progressivism and fostering conservatism. Thus, the risk of rendering the audience indifferent and resistant to social changes. This paradox between progressivism and conservatism could be a result of the attempt by film studios at audience inclusivity for financial benefits. In addition, aesthetic concepts such as dualism and storytelling techniques could prove efficacious to the realness of simulacra and the audience’s emotional investment.
