Abstract

ศึกษาการเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงพื้นที่ของชุมชนเมืองใต้จุดตัดทางด่วนศรีรัชและทางด่วนเฉลิมมหานคร โดยเน้นประเด็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงของรูปแบบโครงข่ายการสัญจร รูปแบบการใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดินและอาคาร รูปแบบความหนาแน่นของมวลอาคารและพื้นที่ว่าง ตามพัฒนาการการขยายตัวของชุมชน เพื่อนำไปสู่การระบุศักยภาพ ปัญหา ตลอดจนแนวโน้มด้านต่างๆ ที่เกิดจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงพื้นที่ที่สัมพันธ์กับบทบาททางด้านสังคม เศรษฐกิจ และสามารถใช้เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานในการวางแผนพัฒนาชุมชนเมืองต่อไป จากการศึกษาการเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงพื้นที่ของชุมชนเมืองใต้จุดตัดทางด่วนศรีรัช และทางด่วนเฉลิมมหานครจากอดีตถึงปัจจุบัน ในช่วงพัฒนาการที่สำคัญผ่าน 3 ช่วงเวลาที่สอดคล้องกับจุดเปลี่ยนสำคัญคือสิ่งกีดขวางเมือง ในลักษณะของโครงสร้างทางด่วนที่พาดผ่านเข้าสู่ชุมชนผลการศึกษาพบว่า ในช่วงที่โครงสร้างของทางด่วนเสร็จใหม่พาดผ่านชุมชน ส่งผลให้ชุมชนมีการหยุดชะงักของพัฒนาการ แม้ศักยภาพการเข้าถึงพื้นที่โดยรวมจะเพิ่มสูง แต่โครงข่ายการสัญจรใหม่ใต้ด่วนนั้นไม่เชื่อมต่ออย่างเหมาะสมกับ โครงข่ายการสัญจรเดิมของชุมชน ส่งผลไปถึงลักษณะการใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดินและอาคารของย่านที่อยู่อาศัยและพาณิชยกรรมชุมชนที่ซบเซาลง จนเมื่อชุมชนมีการปรับตัวเข้ากับโครงสร้างของทางด่วนในยุคปัจจุบัน ด้วยปัจจัยจากพื้นที่ทำเลศูนย์กลางเมืองและโครงข่ายคมนาคมโดยรอบพื้นที่สานกันอย่างเป็นระบบ สภาพชุมชนโดยรวมมีพัฒนาการดีขึ้น มีการเชื่อมต่อระบบโครงข่ายการสัญจรหลักของชุมชนเดิมเข้ากับทางสัญจรใหม่ใต้ทางด่วน ทั้งการฟื้นตัวของย่านพาณิชกรรมและย่านที่อยู่อาศัย ซึ่งมีการใช้ประโยชน์ที่คุ้มค่าขึ้น ยกเว้นพื้นที่ชุมชนบางส่วน ซึ่งได้รับผลกระทบจากลักษณะทางกายภาพของทางด่วนโดยตรง ที่มีแนวโน้มการการเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงพื้นที่เสื่อมโทรมลง ไม่เหมาะสมกับศักยภาพของพื้นที่ชุมชนเมือง

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

To study the spatial transformation of urban communities underneath Srirat and Chalerm Mahanakhon expressway intersection, focusing on the change of transport network, land and building use including figure and ground patterns through time periods. This is to identify potentials as well as problems caused by the spatial transformation in relation to socioeconomic roles in order to use as basis information for the development planning of urban communities in the future. The study of the spatial transformation at the key three time periods has included the arrival of the elevated expressway structure as a barrier structure cutting through the communities. The result shows that as the structure just arrived, there was a pause of spatial development. Although the global spatial integration had increased, the movement network was not suitably fit with the existing accessible routes resulting in the blight of land and building use patterns in the area. As the communities had adjusted with the expressway structure due to its well integration with the urban area, the overall area has improved. There were evidences that the existing movement network has systematically adjusted with its surrounded context causing the renewal of commercial and residential districts and become more viable, leaving only some communities that have been directly affected by the physical structure of the expressway. These areas have become dilapidated and not lived up to their development potentials.
