Abstract
การออกแบบฐานข้อมูลเป็นขั้นตอนที่สำคัญในการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ ซึ่งการออกแบบฐานข้อมูลนิยมใช้แผนภาพอีอีอาร์ในการออกแบบฐานข้อมูล นอกจากนี้การออกแบบฐานข้อมูล ผู้ออกแบบฐานข้อมูลจะต้องพิจารณาถึงเงื่อนไขบังคับของฐานข้อมูลเชิงสัมพันธ์ ซึ่งในปัจจุบันเครื่องมือที่มีความสามารถในการออกแบบแผนภาพอีอาร์มีจำนวนมาก แต่เครื่องมือยังไม่สามารถทำการระบุเงื่อนไขบังคับของฐานข้อมูลเชิงสัมพันธ์ได้อย่างครบถ้วนตามที่ผู้ใช้ต้องการ ทำให้ผู้ออกแบบฐานข้อมูลไม่สามารถทำการระบุเงื่อนไขบังคับของฐานข้อมูลเชิงสัมพันธ์ต่างๆ ได้อย่างครบถ้วน ดังนั้นผู้ออกแบบฐานข้อมูลจะต้องทำการระบุเงื่อนไขบังคับของฐานข้อมูลเชิงสัมพันธ์ต่างๆ โดยทำการระบุเงื่อนไขบังคับของฐานข้อมูลเชิงสัมพันธ์ต่างๆ ผ่านทางรีเลชัน งานวิจัยนี้นำเสนอเครื่องมือสร้างสคีมาของฐานข้อมูลเชิงสัมพันธ์จากแผนภาพอีอาร์ และแผนภาพอีอีอาร์ โดยเครื่องมือสามารถทำการแปลงแผนภาพอีอีอาร์ ซึ่งอยู่ในรูปของเอกสารเอ็กซ์เอ็มแอลให้อยู่ในรูปสคีมาของฐานข้อมูลได้ และอนุญาตให้ผู้ออกแบบฐานข้อมูล สามารถระบุเงื่อนไขบังคับของฐานข้อมูลเชิงสัมพันธ์ผ่านทางรีเลชันได้ นอกจากนี้เครื่องมือสามารถสร้างพจนานุกรมข้อมูลได้
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
Database design is an important activity in software development process. EER Diagram is one of diagram, which is used in database design. When database designers design database, relational database constraints should be considered. There are many tools for designing ER diagram, but these tools do not allow database designers to specify relational database constraints. Database designers should specify relational database constraints in relations. This research proposes a tool for generating relational database schema from EER diagram. This tool is transforming EER diagram, written in XML format into relational database schema and allowing database designers to specify relational database constraints in relations. The tool can also generate data dictionary.
