Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ ออกแบบและพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อใช้ในการจัดการด้านงานวิจัยในระดับภาควิชา ตามระเบียบวิธีทางวิศวกรรมซอฟต์แวร์ โดยใช้ข้อมูลขั้นตอนการดำเนินงานด้านงานวิจัยของภาควิชาวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์ คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เป็นกรณีศึกษา การออกแบบและพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการจัดการด้านงานวิจัย ได้ใช้หลักการเชิงวัตถุและการพัฒนาระบบต้นแบบมาช่วยในการออกแบบ ใช้ระบบจัดการฐานข้อมูลมายเอสคิวแอล ในการจัดเก็บข้อมูล และใช้ภาษาจาวาเซิร์ฟเวอร์เพจในการพัฒนาระบบ โดยแบ่งการดำเนินงานของระบบออกเป็น 3 ส่วน ดังนี้ ส่วนที่ 1 ระบบบริหารงานวิทยานิพนธ์ โครงงานมหาบัณฑิต และโครงงานวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์ ซึ่งครอบคลุมการดำเนินงานการจัดการข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับวิทยานิพนธ์และโครงงานต่างๆ ตั้งแต่นิสิตเริ่มหาหัวข้อวิจัย ตรวจสอบความซ้ำซ้อน จัดทำโครงร่าง ศึกษาและทำการวิจัย จนกระทั่งการอนุมัติงานวิจัย ส่วนที่ 2 ระบบบริหารงานส่วนสนับสนุนงานวิจัย ซึ่งแบ่งออกเป็น 5 ระบบย่อย คือ ระบบบริหารงานการประชุมวิชาการ ระบบบริหารงานผลงานวิชาการ ระบบบริหารงานทุนวิจัยที่ได้รับ ระบบบริหารงานองค์กรผู้ให้ทุนวิจัย และระบบบริหารข้อมูลห้องปฏิบัติการ และส่วนสุดท้าย ระบบส่วนสนับสนุน ซึ่งจัดการกำหนดสิทธิ์การเข้าใช้ระบบ การรับส่งไฟล์ข้อมูล และการออกรายงานผลการทำวิทยานิพนธ์นี้ได้ระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการจัดการด้านงานวิจัยของภาควิชาฯ ซึ่งช่วยอำนวยความสะดวกในการจัดเก็บ ตลอดจนนำข้อมูลด้านงานวิจัยที่มีอยู่มาใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์ ลดภาระการทำงานของบุคลากรในภาควิชาฯ นอกจากนี้งานวิจัยนี้ยังได้นำหลักทางวิศวกรรมซอฟต์แวร์มาประยุกต์ใช้ ประกอบกับการกำหนดมาตรฐานในการดำเนินงาน และรูปแบบเอกสารที่ใช้ในการพัฒนา เพื่อให้ระบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีคุณภาพ สามารถทำงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This research aims to analyze, design and implement the Departmental Information System for Research Information Management using software engineering methodology. The framework is applied to data and organizational procedure of the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, as a case study. The design and development of Research Management Information System applies Object-Oriented principles and prototyping system development to the design of the system and uses MySQL relational database system and JavaServer Page Language to develop the system. It is divided into 3 subsystems. The first subsystem is the Thesis, Master Project, and Senior Project Management Information System. This subsystem manages information related to thesis and project procedures from topic searching, duplicate information verification, proposal examination, and research approval. The second subsystem is the Research Management Information System, which is subdivided into 5 components: academic conference subsystem, publication subsystem, research grant subsystem, research aid organization subsystem and laboratory subsystem. The last subsystem is the Support System facilitating authorization, data upload and download, and report creation. This research has produced the Departmental Research Management Information System, which supports data storage, utilization of research data, and reduction in personnel workload. This research also illustrates an application of software engineering principles, the process of defining standard procedures, and the design of document templates to achieve a system with quality and efficiency
