Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์คือ (1) เพื่อพัฒนาตัวบ่งชี้ แบบวัดสมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมของอาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติ และตรวจสอบความสอดคล้องของโมเดลตัวบ่งชี้ที่พัฒนาขึ้นกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ (2) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบันของสมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมของอาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติ (3) เพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาสมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมของอาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติ ตัวอย่างวิจัยคือ อาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติมหาวิทยาลัยรัฐบาลและในกำกับจำนวน 289 คนซึ่งได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือในการวิจัยได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ แบบวัดสมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมของอาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น แบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้าง และแบบประเมินแนวทางการพัฒนาสมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมของอาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา สถิติเชิงบรรยาย สถิติเชิงอ้างอิงโดยใช้การทดสอบที และการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยัน ด้วยโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์สำเร็จรูป ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้
1) สมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมของอาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติ ประกอบด้วย 3 องค์ประกอบ 7 ตัวบ่งชี้ ได้แก่ องค์ประกอบด้านความรู้ในการสื่อสารและความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม ประกอบด้วย 2 ตัวบ่งชี้คือ ความรู้ความเข้าใจในการสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรม และความรู้ความเข้าใจในความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษา องค์ประกอบด้านทัศนคติต่อความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม ประกอบด้วย 3 ตัวบ่งชี้คือ ความตระหนักในความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษา การเปิดใจยอมรับความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษา และการใฝ่รู้ในความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษา องค์ประกอบด้านการปฏิสัมพันธ์และการสอนระหว่างวัฒนธรรม ประกอบด้วย 2 ตัวบ่งชี้คือ การปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างอาจารย์กับนักศึกษาที่มีความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม และการสอนนักศึกษาที่มีความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม ส่วนแบบวัดสมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมของอาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีเนื้อหาครอบคลุมทั้ง 3 องค์ประกอบ จำนวน 43 ข้อคำถามโดยมีลักษณะเป็นแบบมาตรวัดประเมินค่า 5 ระดับซึ่งได้รับการประเมินจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญว่ามีความตรงเชิงเนื้อหา (IOC = .71 - 1.00) และมีความเที่ยงของแบบวัดแต่ละองค์ประกอบระหว่าง 0.822 - 0.939 โดยมีค่าความเที่ยงทั้งฉบับเท่ากับ 0.947 และโมเดลตัวบ่งชี้สมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมของอาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีความสอดคล้องกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ ( 2 = 3.48, df = 6, P-value = 0.747, GFI = 1.00, AGFI = 0.98, SRMR = 0.012, RMSEA = 0.000 และ CN = 1400.28 )
2) อาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติที่เป็นกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีระดับสมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมทุกด้านอยู่ในระดับมาก ( M = 3.90) และสมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมของอาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติไม่แตกต่างกันระหว่างเพศ ระดับการศึกษา และประเทศที่จบการศึกษา 3) แนวทางการพัฒนาสมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมของอาจารย์หลักสูตรนานาชาติมี 5 แนวทางได้แก่ การอบรมสัมมนา การสร้างประสบการณ์ห้องเรียนนานาชาติ การให้คำปรึกษาแบบรายบุคคล การจัดตั้งศูนย์ให้คำปรึกษาสมรรถนะระหว่างวัฒนธรรมและการประชุมกลุ่มย่อย
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
The purposes of this study were (1) to develop intercultural competency indicators of faculty in international program under Governmental Thai Higher Education, intercultural competency of international faculty scale and confirm intercultural competency indicators of faculty in international program model with empirical data (2) to study current status of intercultural competency of international faculties (3) to present approach for developing intercultural competency of international faculties. The sample used were 289 international faculties under Governmental Thai Higher Education by multi-stage random sampling. Instruments used were a specialist interview form, an intercultural competency of faculty in international program scale and a specialist evaluated form. Data analysis with content analysis, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using t-test and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were conducted by using the statistical software. Finding found that
1) Intercultural competency of international faculty consisted of 3 factors 7 indicators : communication and multicultural knowledge factor were measured by using 2 indicators : intercultural communication knowledge and multicultural student knowledge, attitude of multicultural factor were measured by using 3 indicators : awareness in multicultural of student, open-mind to multicultural of student and curiousness in multicultural of student, participation and teaching with multicultural student factor were measured by using 2 indicators : participation with multicultural student and multicultural student teaching. The developed intercultural competency of international faculty scale were concluded three factors seven indicators 43 items, 5 levels rating scale that assessed as have content validity (IOC = .71 - 1.00) and have reliability in each factor between 0.822 - 0.939 and 0.947 in total. The developed intercultural competency of international faculty model were valid and fitted to empirical data. ( 2 = 3.48, df = 6, P-value = 0.747, GFI = 1.00, AGFI = 0.98, SRMR = 0.012, RMSEA = 0.000 and CN = 1400.28 )
2) Intercultural competency of international faculty sampling group had a high level. ( M = 3.90) Difference of sex, education level and graduated country did not make different to intercultural competency performance.
3) Five approaches for developing intercultural competency of international faculty were training and seminar, international exposure, individual coaching / mentoring /counseling, intercultural understanding center and focus group.
