Abstract

งานวิจัยเชิงสำรวจครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา ลักษณะของผู้อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์ซิงเสียนเยอะเป้าพฤติกรรมการเปิดรับข่าวสารของผู้อ่านหนังสือซิงเสียนเยอะเป้า ความคาดหวัง และความพึงพอใจในการเปิดรับหนังสือพิมพ์ซิงเสียนเยอะเป้า ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความคาดหวัง พฤติกรรมการเปิดรับ และความพึงพอใจของผู้อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์ซิงเสียนเยอะเป้า กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้แก่ ผู้อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์ซิงเสียนเยอะเป้าจำนวน 400 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1.ผู้อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์ซิงเสียนเยอะเป้าส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศชาย มีอายุมากกว่า 60 ปี มีสัญชาติไทย มีการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา ส่วนใหญ่ไม่มีอาชีพ (เป็นพ่อบ้าน-แม่บ้าน) มีรายได้ระหว่าง 5,001 - 10,000 บาท 2.ผู้อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์ซิงเสียนเยอะเป้า ส่วนใหญ่อ่าน 2 -3 ครั้งใน 1 สัปดาห์ ใช้เวลาในการอ่านแต่ละวันประมาณ 21 -40 นาที ส่วนใหญ่อ่านเองและรับเป็นสมาชิกมากที่สุด 3.วัตถุประสงค์ในการอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์ซิงเสียนเยอะเป้าโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง วัตถุประสงค์ในการอ่านระดับมากได้แก่ อ่านเพื่อหาความรู้ทั่ว ๆ ไป เพื่อทราบความเป็นไปในบ้านเมือง และเพื่อทราบข้อมูลทางธุรกิจการค้า 4. ความคาดหวังโดยรวมเกี่ยวกับเนี้อหาที่ต้องการให้นำเสนออยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เรื่องที่มีความต้องการมากที่สุดได้แก่ ข่าวเกี่ยวกับประเทศจีน และข่าวต่างประเทศทั่วไป ส่วนความคาดหวังทั่วไป โดยรวมเกี่ยวกับรูปแบบที่ด้องการให้นำเสนออยู่ในระดับมากพอสมควร เรื่องที่มีความต้องการมากที่สุด ได้แก่ ต้องการให้เสนอข่าวสารที่หลากหลายมากขึ้น การนำเสนอข่าวที่สดและรวดเร็วมากขึ้น และการนำเสนอข่าวสารที่อ่านง่ายทั่งในแง่การใช้ภาษาและรูปแบบการเขียน 5.ความพึงพอใจที่ได้รับจากการเปิดรับหนังสือพิมพ์ซิงเสียนเยอะเป้าโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เรื่องที่มีความพึงพอใจมากที่สุด ได้แก่ การนำเสนอข่าวสารที่สดและรวดเร็ว การทำให้มีความรู้ในเรื่องทั่ว ๆ ไป และการนำเสนอข่าวสารที่อ่านง่ายทั่งในแง่การใช้ภาษาและรูปแบบการเขียน ผลการทดสอบสมมติฐานเพื่อทราบว่าความคาดหวัง พฤติกรรมการเปิดรับ และความพึงพอใจจาก หนังสือพิมพ์ซิงเสียนเยอะเป้ามีความสัมพันธ์ในเชิงสอดคล้องซึ่งกันและกันหรือไม่ ปรากฎว่า เป็นไปตาม สมมติฐานคือ ความคาดหวัง พฤติกรรมการเปิดรับ และความพึงพอใจมีความสัมพันธ์กันในเชิงบวกและมี ความสัมพันธ์โนระดับสูงที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ .01

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This survey research aims at examining the characteristics of the Sing Sian Yit Pao’s readers, their exposure, expectation and gratifications of the newspaper. It also attempts to establish a correlation between the expectation, exposure and gratifications of the Sing Sian Yit Pao’s readers. The sample group used in this study consists of 400 readers of the newspaper. The tools are questionnaires. The statistics used in data analysis include content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson Correlation Coefficient Value. The findings of the research are as follows. 1) Most readers of the Sing Sian Yit Pao are male, aged over 60, Thai nationality, elementary educational background. They have no profession (unemployed) and their income range is 5,001 - 10,000 baht. 2) Most of them read the newspaper 2-3 times a week, spending around 21-40 minutes per day. They read the newspaper by themselves and are mainly subscribers. 3) The overall purpose of reading the Sing Sian Yit Pao is at an average level. The top-rated purposes are to seek knowledge in general, to keep track with current news and to keep an update of trade and business. 4) The overall expectation in terms of the content presented by the newspaper is at an average level. The kinds of content most expected are news about China and foreign news in general. The overall expectation of the style of presentation is at a high level. The most expected styles are versatility of news, instant and fast reporting as well as simplicity in terms of the use of language and style of writing. 5) The overall gratifications of the Sing Sian Yit Pao are at an average level. The top-rated gratifications are immediacy and fast reporting, provision of knowledge in general and simplicity in terms of the use of language and style of writing. In testing the hypothesis in order to determine the correlation between the expectation, exposure and gratifications of the Sing Sian Yit Pao, the result confirms the hypothesis. That is, the expectation, exposure and gratifications correlate in a positive way and at a high level or statistically significant level of .01
