Abstract

The development of higher thinking skills of Mathayomsuksa 1 students by teaching Thai language through literature with the process "show - link - use" aims to 1) compare the higher thinking skills of Mathayomsuksa 1 students by teaching Thai language through literature with the process "show - link - use" during Pretest and Posttest learning, 2) examine student’s satisfaction of teaching Thai language through literature with the process "show - link - use". The sample group was 24 students of Mathayomsuksa 1 in Banhuaisakea School, Muang District, Phetchabun Province, for academic year 2022. The sample group was collected purposive sampling. The research instruments were 1) lesson plan of teaching Thai language through literature with the process "show - link - use" 2) the test of higher thinking skills by teaching Thai language through literature with the process "show - link - use" 3) a satisfaction assessment form. The data analysis used mean, standard deviation and t-test dependent. The research results found that: 1) The average score of the results of comparing higher thinking skills during Pretest and Posttest learning were 9.83 and 18.96, which the posttest score significantly is higher than pretest score at .05 level. 2) The overall satisfied of the result of the test on the student's satisfaction of learning was the most satisfied (M = 4.87, SD = 0.28).
