Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study current situations and the need for learning experience management in multicultural education for early childhood in schools under That Phanom Subdistrict Municipality, Nakhon Phanom Province. The sample consisted of seven female early childhood teachers. Research tools included non-participant observations, focus group discussions, and document studies. The findings were as follows: 1. The current situation of learning experience management in early childhood provided by early childhood teachers was divided into three aspects: 1) Knowledge teachers have a good knowledge of the traditional society, history, and background of the area, as well as their awareness of the current changing conditions of the community and the changing modern world that affects early childhood and the use of technology in society as it becomes more modernized; 2) attitude: teachers have a proud attitude towards their ethnic group with a positive viewpoint and an understanding and acceptance of cultural diversity; 3) competent teachers are unable to continuously and consistently apply multicultural knowledge and content into the classroom of learning experience management for early childhood students. 2. The needs of early childhood teachers in managing the learning experiences in multicultural education for early childhood include classroom management for early childhood, the development of teaching materials, and learning measurement and evaluation following the context of a multicultural society.
