Abstract
การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับความคิดว่าตนเองด้อยความสามารถของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ได้แก่ เพศสภาพ การตั้งเป้าหมายเชิงสัมฤทธิ์แบบมุ่งเน้นความเชี่ยวชาญ การตั้งเป้าหมายเชิงสัมฤทธิ์แบบหลีกเลี่ยงความไม่เชี่ยวชาญ การตั้งเป้าหมายเชิงสัมฤทธิ์แบบมุ่งเน้นการแสดงความสามารถ การตั้งเป้าหมายเชิงสัมฤทธิ์แบบหลีกเลี่ยงการแสดงความด้อยความสามารถ การอบรมเลี้ยงดูของบิดามารดาแบบห่วงใย การอบรมเลี้ยงดูของบิดามารดาแบบปกป้องมากเกินไป การรับรู้คุณค่าในตนเอง การรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง และลักษณะบุคลิกภาพแบบต้องการความสมบูรณ์แบบ โดยมีสมมติฐานการวิจัยว่าปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์ทั้งหมดดังกล่าวสามารถร่วมกันทำนายความคิดว่าตนเองด้อยความสามารถของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีได้ การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสหสัมพันธ์ เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐ 5 อันดับแรกของประเทศไทย ทุกชั้นปี อายุตั้งแต่ 18-25 ปี ที่สามารถอ่านทำความเข้าใจภาษาไทยได้ จำนวน 309 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา โดยใช้ความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงอนุมาน โดยใช้ค่าสหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยเชิงพหุคูณแบบนำตัวแปรเข้าทุกตัวแปร ผลการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยเชิงพหุคูณพบว่าตัวแปรทำนายทั้งหมดสามารถร่วมกันทำนายความคิดว่าตนเองด้อยความสามารถของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีได้ร้อยละ 41.60 โดยคะแนนลักษณะบุคลิกภาพแบบต้องการความสมบูรณ์แบบสามารถทำนายได้มากที่สุด (β = .493, p < .01) รองลงมาคือ การรับรู้คุณค่าในตนเอง (β = -.195, p < .01) และการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง (β = -.161, p < .01) ตามลำดับ ผลการวิจัยแสดงให้เห็นว่า แม้นักศึกษาที่นับว่าเรียนเก่งจนสามารถผ่านการคัดเลือกเข้าเรียนในมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำของรัฐ ก็มีแนวโน้มที่จะเกิดความคิดว่าตนเองด้อยความสามารถได้มาก เนื่องจากมีลักษณะบุคลิกภาพแบบต้องการความสมบูรณ์แบบสูง มีการรับรู้คุณค่าในตนเองต่ำ และมีการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเองต่ำ
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
The objective of this research was to study factors related to imposter phenomenon in undergraduate students which are gender, mastery-approach goal, mastery-avoidance goal, performance-approach goal, performance-avoidance goal, care parenting style, overprotective parenting style, self-esteem, self-efficacy, and perfectionism. Research hypothesis was that the aforementioned predictor variables could together predict imposter phenomenon in undergraduate students. This research is a correlational research, collecting data using questionnaires as research instruments. Participants were 309 undergraduate students in top 5 public universities of Thailand, aged between 18-25 years old, who could comprehend Thai. Descriptive statistics were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Inferential statistics were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficients and simultaneous multiple regression analysis. Multiple regression analysis showed that all predictor variables could together predict imposter phenomenon in undergraduate students at 41.60% with perfectionism as the best predictor (β = .493, p < .01), followed by self-esteem (β = -.195, p < .01), and self-efficacy (β = -.161, p < .01), respectively. Results implied that even capable students who were accepted to the top public university could likely experience imposter phenomenon due to a high level of perfectionism, a low level of self-esteem, and a low level of self-efficacy.
