Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย 1. เพื่อศึกษาโครงสร้างการบริหารงานวิชาการ ของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาสายสามัญ สังกัดกองการมัธยมศึกษา ในภาคกลางยกเว้นกรุงเทพมหานคร 2. เพื่อศึกษาถึงภารกิจและการปฏิบัติงานในด้านวิชาการที่เป็นจริงของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา สายสามัญ สังกัดกองการมัธยมศึกษา ในภาคกลาง ยกเว้นกรุงเทพมหานคร 3. เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาในการปฏิบัติงานด้านวิชาการในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาสายสามัญ สังกัดกองการมัธยมศึกษา ในภาคกลางยกเว้นกรุงเทพมหานคร วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ผู้บริหารงานวิชาการของโรงเรียนคือ ผู้บริหารโรงเรียน ผู้ช่วยผู้บริหารฝ่ายวิชาการ หัวหน้าหมวดวิชา และผู้ปฏิบัติงานวิชาการในโรงเรียนคือ ครูผู้สอนวิชาต่าง ๆ ของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา สายสามัญ สังกัดกองการมัธยมศึกษา ในภาคกลางยกเว้นกรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 24 โรงเรียน แยกเป็นผู้บริหารงานวิชาการ 142 คน และผู้ปฏิบัติงานวิชาการ 391 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถาม มีลักษณะแบบมาตราส่วนประเมินค่าและแบบให้เลือกตอบ ซึ่งสร้างขึ้นโดยอาศัยแนวจากตำรา เอกสาร และวิทยานิพนธ์ที่เกี่ยวข้อง การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ใช้วิธีหาค่าร้อยละ ค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิต และค่าความบ่ายเบนมาตรฐาน 1. โรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในภาคกลางยกเว้นกรุงเทพมหานคร ส่วนใหญ่มีผู้ช่วยผู้บริหารโรงเรียน 3 ฝ่าย คือ ฝ่ายธุรการ ฝ่ายวิชาการ และฝ่ายการปกครองและเปิดสอนครบทุกสายวิชา คือภาษาไทย ภาษาอังกฤษ คณิตศาสตร์ วิทยาศาสตร์ สังคมศึกษา พลานามัย ศิลปศึกษาและศิลปปฏิบัติ 2. โรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในภาคกลางยกเว้นกรุงเทพมหานคร ส่วนใหญ่ปฏิบัติงานวิชาการน้อยทุกด้าน งานวิชาการที่มีการปฏิบัติน้อยกว่าด้านอื่น ๆ เป็นอันดับแรก ได้แก่ การวัดผลและการประเมินผลการศึกษา รองลงมาได้แก่ การนิเทศการศึกษา การวางแผนปรับปรุงงานวิชาการ การใช้ทรัพยากรและแหล่งวิชาการในท้องถิ่นหลักสูตรและเอกสารการใช้หลักสูตร วัสดุอุปกรณ์การสอนและห้องสมุด กระบวนการบริหารงานวิชาการของโรงเรียน การแนะแนว การกำหนดให้ครู-อาจารย์ปฏิบัติงานวิชาการ ตารางสอนและวิธีสอน กิจกรรมนักเรียนซึ่งมีการปฏิบัติกันน้อยตามลำดับ 3. ปัญหาสำคัญในการบริหารงานและปฏิบัติงานวิชาการของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในภาคกลางยกเว้นกรุงเทพมหานคร คือผู้บริหารโรงเรียนยังให้ความสำคัญต่องานวิชาการน้อยไป ผู้บริหารงานวิชาการยังขาดความรู้ ความสามารถในด้านการวัดผลและการประเมินผลการศึกษา และการนิเทศ ปัญหาการขาดแคลนวัสดุอุปกรณ์ห้องเรียน และบุคลากร ตลอดจนรายได้ และสวัสดิการของครูไม่เหมาะสมกับภาวะเศรษฐกิจที่เป็นอยู่ ทำให้การปฏิบัติงานของครูขาดประสิทธิภาพ

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

Purposes The purposes of this research are as follows : 1. To study the academic administrative structure of Secondary Schools in the Central Region : 2. To study the duty and actual academic performance of the administrators and teachers in Secondary Schools in the Central Region ; 3. To study the problems of academic work in the Secondary School in the Central Region ; Procedures The sample in this research are the academic administrators ; the principals, academic principal assistants, head-departments and teachers who teach in every department from 24 different selected Secondary Schools in the Central Region. They are classified as 142 academic administrators and 391 teachers. The devices used are rating scale and check list questionnaires adapted from books, articles, and related theses. The data analysis include percentage, means and standard deviation. Findings 1. There are three school administrator assistants in most of the Secondary Schools in the Central Region : Business Administrator Assistant, Academic Administrator Assistant and Disciplinarian Administrators Assistant. Every subject is taught in these schools ; Thai, English, Mathematic, Sciences, Social Studies, Physical Education, Art Education and Practical Arts. 2. In most of the Secondary School in the Central Region the administrators and teachers perform little academic tasks. The least performance is on measurement and evaluation. The lesser performance is on supervision, the academic improvement planning, the local academic resources, the curriculum and the curriculum documents, materials and the teaching devices, library, guidance, academic administrative process, task assignment for teachers, time-tables and teaching methods, student activities respectively. 3. The important problem is the academic administration and academic performance of the administrators and teacher in the Secondary Schools in the Central Region are : the school administrators lack of academic knowledge such as educational measurement, evaluation and supervision. The schools lack of materials, classroom and efficient personnels. Lastly, teachers’ income and welfare do not suit the present economic situation which affect the efficiency of the teachers’ academic performance
