Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินบุคลิกภาพของผู้กระทำผิดวัยหนุ่มตามแบบซีไอพี. โดยการศึกษาเปรียบเทียบลักษณะบุคลิกภาพของผู้กระทำผิดวัยหนุ่มกับคนงานวัยหนุ่มและ เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะบุคลิกภาพของผู้กระทำผิดวัยหนุ่มใน 3 ลักษณะความผิด ได้แก่ ความผิดต่อทรัพย์ ความผิดต่อชีวิต และความผิดทางเพศ เครื่องมือที่ใช้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสำรวจบุคลิกภาพ ซีพีไอ. ฉบับภาษาไทย กลุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรได้แก่ผู้กระทำผิดวัยหนุ่มในสถานแรกรับเรือนจำกลางนครปฐม, ทัณฑสถานวัยหนุ่มบางเขน และทัณฑสถานวัยหนุ่มมีนบุรี จำนวน 323 คน และคนงานวัยหนุ่ม 100 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าที (t-test) ทดสอบความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนบุคลิกภาพ และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบทางเดียว (One way analysis of varience) ได้ข้อค้นพบดังนี้ 1. บุคลิกภาพของผู้กระทำผิดวัยหนุ่ม สูงกว่าบุคลิกภาพของคนงานวัยหนุ่ม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญใน 12 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ ความมีอำนาจเหนือผู้อื่น, ความสามารถที่จะบรรลุสถานภาพ, การชอบสมาคม, ความรู้สึกว่าตนเองมีความเป็นอยู่ดี, ความอดทน, การสร้างความประทับใจให้แก่ผู้อื่น, สัมฤทธิ์ผลในสถานการณ์ที่ต้องตามผู้อื่น, ประสิทธิภาพทางสติปัญญา, การเข้าใจความรู้สึกของผู้อื่น (p < 0.001) การควบคุมตนเอง (p < 0.01), สัมฤทธิ์ผลในสถานการณ์ที่ต้องพึ่งตนเอง และความยืดหยุ่นได้ (p < 0.05) มีเพียงลักษณะเดียว คือ ลักษณะการเจริญวัยทางสังคมของผู้กระทำผิดวัยหนุ่ม ที่ต่ำกว่าของคนงานวัยหนุ่มอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (p < 0.05) 2. บุคลิกภาพของผู้กระทำผิดต่อทรัพย์ และผู้กระทำผิดทางเพศไม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญในทุกลักษณะบุคลิกภาพ แต่บุคลิกภาพของผู้กระทำผิดต่อชีวิตสูงกว่าบุคลิกภาพของผู้กระทำผิดต่อทรัพย์และผู้กระทำผิดทางเพศอย่างมีนัยสำคัญใน 15 และ 16 ลักษณะตามลำดับ มีไม่แตกต่างกันเพียง 2-3 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ ลักษณะความอดทน, ความยืดหยุ่นได้ และ สัมฤทธิ์ผลในสถานการณ์ที่ต้องพึ่งตนเอง 3. บุคลิกภาพของผู้กระทำผิดต่อชีวิต สูงกว่า บุคลิกภาพของคนงานวัยหนุ่มอย่างมีนัยสำคัญใน 17 ลักษณะ มีเพียงลักษณะเดียวที่ไม่แตกต่างกัน คือ ลักษณะความยืดหยุ่นได้ 4. บุคลิกภาพของผู้กระทำผิดต่อทรัพย์ สูงกว่า บุคลิกภาพของคนงานวัยหนุ่มอย่างมีนัยสำคัญใน 11 ลักษณะ และต่ำกว่าอย่างมีนัยสำคัญใน 2 ลักษระ ได้แก่ ลักษณะการเจริญวัยทางสังคม และ ความมีลักษณะของหญิง 5. บุคลิกภาพของผู้กระทำผิดทางเพศ สูงกว่า บุคลิกภาพของคนงานวัยหนุ่มอย่างมีนัยสำคัญใน 4 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ การมีอำนาจเหนือผู้อื่น, การชอบสมาคม, ความอดทน และ ประสิทธิภาพทางสติปัญญา

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purposes of this study were : to compare the personality of the youth offenders with the personality of the young workers and to study the personality of three types of the youth offenders who committed offenses against property, offenses against life, and sex offenses. The California Psychological Inventory (CPI) was administered to 323 youth offenders and 100 young workers. The t-test, the one way analysis of variance and the Duncan's New Multiple Range Test were used for data analyses, the results were : 1. Hate youth offenders' personality scores were significantly higher that the young workers' scores on twelve scales : dominance, capacity for status, sociability, sense of well-being, tore lance, good impression, achievement-via-conformance, intellectual efficiency, psychological mindedness (p<0.001), self control (p<0.01), achievement-via-independence and flexibility (p<0.05). But the youth offenders scored lower than did the workers on only the socialization-scale (p<0.05) 2. Personality scores of the two types offenders who committed offense against property and sex were not different in all eighteen scales. But the life-offenders' personality scores were significantly higher than those two groups' in fifteen and sixteen scales respectively. 3. Personality scores of the youth offenders who committed offenses against life were significantly higher than the young workers' scores on seventeen scales, but they were not different in the flexibility scale. 4. The property-offenders' personality scores were significantly higher than the young workers scores on eleven scales, but significantly lower than the young workers' scores on the socialization and femininity scales. 5. The sex offenders' personality scores were significantly higher than the young workers' scores on four scales : dominance, sociability, tolerance, and the intellectual efficiency.
