Abstract

ศึกษาพฤติกรรมการเปิดรับข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับประเด็นทางเพศ ของวัยรุ่นไทยที่นำเสนอผ่านทางอินเทอร์เน็ต ความถี่ในการแสวงหา บุคคลที่มีอิทธิพล ตลอดจนประโยชน์และความพึงพอใจที่ได้รับ เน้นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยการสัมภาษณ์เจาะลึก วัยรุ่นไทย ทั้งหญิงและชายจำนวน 32 น (In-depth Interview) โดยเปรียบเทียบตามเพศและวัย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. ความถี่ในการแสวงหาข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับประเด็นทางเพศ พบว่าวัยรุ่นไทยส่วนใหญ่ใช้เวลาค้นหาข้อมูลประมาณอาทิตย์ละ 1 ครั้ง ครั้งละประมาณ 1-2 ชั่วโมง นิยมหาข้อมูลช่วงเวลากลางค้น และมักค้นหาข้อมูลอยู่ที่บ้าน ซึ่งวัยรุ่นหญิงนิยมบ่อยกว่าวัยรุ่นชาย 2. วัยรุ่นชายและหญิงตอนต้น มักจะค้นหาข้อมูลด้วยวิธีการ Chat ในห้องเกี่ยวกับเรื่องเพศโดยเฉพาะ ส่วนวัยรุ่นชายและหญิงตอนปลายมักชอบใช้ Search Engine หาโดยวัยรุ่นชายมักชอบค้นหาภาพลามกมากกว่าเนื้อหา ส่วนวัยรุ่นหญิงมักชอบค้นหาข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับเนื้อหาทางเพศมากกว่าภาพ 3. บุคคลที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการค้นหาข้อมูลคือเพื่อน และวัยรุ่นส่วนใหญ่ชอบหาข้อมูลเพียงลำพัง แต่วัยรุ่นหญิงตอนปลายส่วนใหญ่นิยมแสวงหาข้อมูลร่วมกับเพื่อน เพื่อความสนุกสนาน 4. รูปแบบและวิธีการนำเสนอที่วัยรุ่นชายส่วนใหญ่สนใจคือภาพโป๊ เชิงศิลปะ มากกว่าสนใจเนื้อหา ส่วนวัยรุ่นหญิงจะเน้นข้อความมากกว่าภาพ เช่นประสบการณ์ในการมีเพศสัมพันธ์ 5. ประโยชน์และความพึงพอใจของวัยรุ่นชายคือ สนุกสนานเพลิดเพลิน ระบายอารมณ์ทางเพศ ประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายและเวลา ตามลำดับ ส่วนวัยรุ่นหญิงได้รับความสนุกสนาน เพื่อนใหม่ ความรู้ที่กว้างขวางมากขึ้น และสามารถระบายอารมณ์ผ่านทางอินเทอร์เน็ตได้ตามลำดับ

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

To analyze the behavior of Thai teenagers concerning information seeking on sexual information via internet, including frequency of exposure, influencial persons to seek information about sex as well as advantagers and satisfaction gained from information seeking. The research used qualitative method and using in-depth interview of 32 Thai male and female teenagers. The data is reported by sex and age comparison. Findings: 1. Thai teenagers spend once a week approximately 1-2 hours long on Internet. Most of them used Internet at home during night time. Girls are likely to search sex information via Internet than boys. 2. Boys and girls in their early teen are most likely to search and exchange information about sex by using "chart room", which is special chat room for information. The ones in their late teen are most likely to use search engine in order to find pornography rather than information about sex. Girls like to search for information about sex rather than pornography. 3. Friends have much influence on seeking sexual issue via Internet. Most of the teenagers like to search information privately, only girls in their late teen like to search information with a group of friends for fun. 4. Patterns of presentation that Interest boys are pornography rather than educational matters. On the other hand, girls are more likely to searching for sexual education i.e. sexual experience. 5. Boys tend to use Internet for fun, sexual as well as saving their expenses and time accordingly via Internet. Both boys and girls also surf Internet for fun, new friends, knowledge and also for sexual outlet.
