Abstract

ศึกษารูปแบบพฤติกรรมการสื่อสารของผู้สนทนา ในห้องสนทนาภาษาไทยบนเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต โดยใช้วิธีการรวบรวมข้อมูลการสนทนาจากห้องสนทนาในเว็บไซต์ www.pantip.com, www.hunsa.com www.sanook.com และโปรแกรม Pirch98 รวมทั้งศึกษาปัจจัยในการแสดงออกซึ่งพฤติกรรมการสื่อสารดังกล่าว โดยระเบียบวิธีที่ใช้คือ การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content analysis) เพื่อศึกษาถึงรูปแบบพฤติกรรมการสื่อสารของผู้สนทนาในห้องสนทนา นอกจากนี้ยังใช้การสนทนากลุ่ม (Focus group) การสัมภาษณ์เจาะลึก (In-dept interview) เพื่อศึกษาถึงปัจจัยในการแสดงออกซึ่งพฤติกรรมดังกล่าว ผลการวิจัยพบว่า รูปแบบพฤติกรรมการสื่อสารของผู้สนทนา เป็นไปทั้งในรูปแบบที่แตกต่างและคล้ายคลึงกัน กับการแสดงออกในโลกของความเป็นจริง และเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้สนทนามีอิสระเสรีภาพในการแสดงออก ในการสื่อสารอย่างไร้ขอบเขต นอกจากนี้ผู้สนทนาจะใช้ข้อความตลอดจนสัญลักษณ์ในการแสดงออก ถึงอารมณ์และความรู้สึกในการสนทนา อีกทั้งผู้สนทนาจะคิดเพื่อสร้างคำ และรูปแบบประโยคใหม่ๆ ซึ่งเป็นลักษณะเฉพาะของรูปแบบการสื่อสาร ผ่านตัวกลางด้วยคอมพิวเตอร์ ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการแสดงพฤติกรรมการสื่อสารของผู้สนทนา ประกอบด้วยลักษณะที่เป็นชุมชนจำลอง สภาวะไร้การขัดขวางและการควบคุม การไร้ขอบเขตในการสร้างความหมาย การไม่รู้จักผู้ที่สื่อสารด้วย การปลอมตัว การหลอกลวง ความเป็นตัวตนหลากหลาย การเปลี่ยนเพศ การสร้างจินตนาการ นอกจากนี้ยังมีปัจจัยทางด้านจิตวิทยาสังคม ได้แก่ แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับตนเอง รวมทั้งทัศนคติ ความเชื่อ ค่านิยม และความเห็นอีกส่วนหนึ่งด้วย

To study the patterns of communication behaviour of the Internet users in Thai Internet chat rooms, and to study the factors which influence their expressions. The data was compiled from social interaction of communicators from Pirch98 program and chat rooms in www.pantip.com, www.hunsa.com and www.sanook.com. The content analysis technique was employed to discover the patterns of communication behaviour in chat rooms. Furthermore focus group and in-dept interview were used to study the factors which influence their experssions. The conclusion of this research are as follows: The patterns of communication behaviour of the Internet users in Thai Internet chat rooms are both difference and similar to the real world as chat rooms is democratic or liberating their expressions. Futhermore, the Internet users or communicators not only create and use messages or symbolic that other participants can recognize their emotions and feeling, but also construct new words and new sentences which are unique of computer-mediated communication. The structural factors influencing the patterns of the communication behaviour include virtual community, disinhibition, deconstructing boundaries, anonymity, deception, multiple identities, gender swapping, and fantasy. Additionally, the influencing factors consists of social psychological, self concept, attitudes, beliefs, social values and opinions.
