Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแนวปรากฏการณ์นิยมเพื่อศึกษาประสบการณ์ทางจิตใจของผู้ต้องขังหญิงคดีฆาตกรรม เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจากผู้ต้องขังหญิงคดีฆาตกรรมในทัณฑสถานหญิงเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 14 ราย ประสบการณ์ทางจิตใจของผู้ต้องขังหญิงคดีฆาตกรรมจากการวิจัยครั้งนี้แบ่งออกเป็น 6 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) ด้านชนวนก่อเหตุฆาตกรรม: ก่อนลงมือก่อเหตุฆาตกรรมผู้ต้องขังหญิงคดีกล่าวถึงความรู้สึกกดดันในชีวิตซึ่งนำไปสู่ความโกรธและการลงมือฆ่าคู่กรณี การทำไปเพื่อป้องกันตัวและไม่มีเจตนาทำให้เสียชีวิต รวมถึงความรู้สึกลังเลใจและสับสนก่อนลงมือก่อเหตุ 2) ด้านเมื่อแรกรู้ว่าถูกจำคุก: เมื่อผู้ต้องขังหญิงคดีฆาตกรรมรับรู้ว่าตนเองถูกจำคุก ความรู้สึกที่เกิดขึ้นคือ ความตกใจอย่างรุนแรง ความหวั่นกลัวต่อเรือนจำ ความรู้สึกสูญเสียใหญ่หลวงในชีวิต ความกังวลเกี่ยวกับชีวิตในเรือนจำ ความเป็นห่วงสมาชิกในครอบครัว และการพยายามทำใจยอมรับ 3) ด้านความทุกข์ใจจากการถูกจองจำ: ผู้ต้องขังหญิงรู้สึกทุกข์ใจในด้านต่างๆ ได้แก่ ความทุกข์ใจจากการพลัดพรากจากครอบครัว ความทุกข์ใจจากกฎระเบียบในเรือนจำและการขาดอิสรภาพในชีวิต ความทุกข์ใจการไม่สามารถช่วยเหลือครอบครัวได้ และความทุกข์ใจจากการอยู่ท่ามกลางคนแปลกหน้า 4) ด้านการปรับตัวและปรับใจให้อยู่ได้ในเรือนจำ: ผู้ต้องขังหญิงปรับตัวเข้ากับชีวิตในเรือนจำโดยใช้กระบวนการทางความคิด พยายามทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ ในเรือนจำ มีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับผู้ต้องขังอื่น เปลี่ยนแปลงตนเองเพื่อเอาตัวรอด รวมถึงการตระหนักถึงความหมายในชีวิต 5) ด้านความมุ่งหวังและความกังวลในอนาคต: ภายหลังจากพ้นโทษผู้ต้องขังหญิงมีความตั้งใจกลับออกไปทำงาน กลับไปอยู่บ้านและอยู่กับครอบครัว รวมถึงการบวชชีเพื่อชำระจิตใจ สำหรับประเด็นเรื่องความกังวลเกี่ยวกับอนาคต ผู้ต้องขังขังหญิงมีความสับสนในอนาคต และกังวลเกี่ยวกับการยอมรับของสังคมและญาติพี่น้อง 6) ด้านบทเรียนที่ได้รับจากการถูกจองจำ: ผู้ต้องขังหญิงระบุว่าตนเองได้สำนึกถึงคุณค่าของครอบครัว มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงตนเองในทางที่ดีขึ้น ได้รับโอกาสทางการศึกษาและวิชาชีพ รวมถึงได้รับบทเรียนชีวิต ผลการวิจัยสามารถใช้เป็นแนวทางในการทำความเข้าใจประสบการณ์ทางจิตใจของผู้ต้องขังหญิงคดีฆาตกรรมและนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการปรึกษาเชิงจิตวิทยาสำหรับคนกลุ่มนี้ แต่การวิจัยครั้งนี้ทำขึ้นกับผู้ต้องขังหญิงคดีฆาตกรรมในทัณฑสถานหญิงเชียงใหม่เท่านั้น ซึ่งทำให้มีข้อจำกัดในการนำไปอ้างอิงกับผู้ต้องขังหญิงทั่วไป

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This research was phenomenological approach aimed to examine the psychological experiences of female homicidal inmates. Data were collected by in-depth interviewing of 14 female homicidal inmates of the Chiangmai Female Correctional Institution. Psychological experiences of the 14 key informants could be arranged into 6 theme as follow: 1) Theme of murder initiation: The female homicidal inmates reported the pressure that brought about to anger and the act of killing. Claims for self-defenses and no intention to kill, thoughts of hesitate, and confusion were reported to pull the mind be for the act. 2) Theme of verdict first hearing: The female homicidal inmates were shocked and frightened about the prison. They felt of great losses and were worried about the life in cell, their family, and forced themselves to accept the prison life. 3) Theme of imprisonment fear and stress: The female homicidal inmates were suffered from the family separation. They were worried about rules and regulation in the prison and suffered from being lost of freedom, inability to support their family, and living among strangers. 4) Theme of adjustment into the cell: The female homicidal inmates tried to adjust to the situations by the process of thinking, the doing of prison activities, the interaction with others, the changing of themselves in order to survives, and the awareness of the meaning in life. 5) Theme of future hope and worries: The female homicidal inmates, after finished term, intended to do work, to stay home with family, to be ordained to clean the mind. For the future worries, the research found the feeling of uncertainty and the fear of being unaccepted by family member. 6) Theme of learning experience: The female homicidal inmates reported of realization of the value of the family, changing themselves for the better, opportunity to be educated and occupational training, and the lesson of life. The research finding could be used to understanding psychological experience of the female homicidal inmate. But this research was restricted to the key informants in the Chiangmai Female Correctional Institution only and generalization of the results was limited.
