Abstract
สถานการณ์ของผู้สูงอายุประเทศไทยใน พ.ศ. 2565 ประเทศไทยจะเข้าสู่สังคมสูงวัยอย่างสมบูรณ์ การเปลี่ยนแปลงดังกล่าวส่งผลทำให้ต้องจัดเตรียมสถานที่ดูแลที่สามารถรองรับและเข้าถึงกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุ และจากการศึกษาประเภทที่พักอาศัยสำหรับผู้สูงอายุที่มีความต้องการพึ่งพิงบุคคลอื่นในประเทศไทยพบว่ามี 4 ประเภทคือ ไม่ต้องการพึ่งพิง, กึ่งพึ่งพิง, ต้องพึ่งพิง และระยะสุดท้าย โดยส่วนใหญ่จะเน้นการพัฒนาโครงการประเภทอยู่อย่างไม่ต้องการพึ่งพิง (Independent Living : IL) ซึ่งโครงการดังกล่าวสามารถรองรับภาวะพึ่งพิงของผู้สูงอายุได้แค่ช่วงระยะเวลาหนึ่งเท่านั้น และปัญหาคือเมื่อผู้สูงอายุเข้าสู่ภาวะพึ่งพิงในลำดับถัดไปมากขึ้น ผู้สูงอายุภายในโครงการประเภทดังกล่าวก็มีความจำเป็นที่จะต้องหาสถานที่ใหม่ หรือปรับเปลี่ยนสภาพแวดล้อมภายในพื้นที่เดิมให้มีความเหมาะสมต่อภาวะพึ่งพิงของผู้สูงอายุต่อไป ประเด็นดังกล่าวจึงกลายเป็นที่มาสำคัญของการศึกษาในครั้งนี้ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพแวดล้อมในปัจจุบันและการวางแผนที่อยู่อาศัยของผู้สูงอายุในอนาคต เพื่อหาแนวทางในการแก้ไขข้อจำกัดสภาพแวดล้อมให้สอดคล้องกับภาวะพึ่งพิงในปัจจุบัน รวมถึงหาแนวทางการพัฒนาที่พักอาศัยผู้สูงอายุในอนาคตให้มีความเหมาะสมกับบริบทสังคมผู้สูงอายุไทย กลุ่มตัวอย่างจะศึกษาจากผู้อยู่อาศัยภายในโครงการ, ผู้ที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับทางโครงการ รวมถึงผู้เชี่ยวชาญเฉพาะด้านเพื่อหาข้อสรุปเชิงเสนอแนะ โดยวิธีการเก็บข้อมูลจะใช้วิธีการเก็บแบบสอบถาม, แบบสำรวจ และแบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก โดยมีกรณีศึกษาในงานวิจัยนี้จำนวน 5 โครงการ ผลการศึกษาพบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่ระบุว่าสภาพแวดล้อมในปัจจุบันมีปัญหา มีข้อจำกัด และอุปสรรคที่ไม่เหมาะสมต่อการใช้งาน โดยแต่ละโครงการจะมีข้อจำกัดในการใช้งานที่แตกต่างกันไปในแต่ละลำดับ และประเด็นปัญหาที่พบเหมือนกันแต่ลำดับแตกต่างกันได้แก่ประเด็นเรื่อง พรมเช็ดเท้า, พื้นที่เก็บ/ใส่รองเท้า และการแบ่งพื้นที่ส่วนเปียกและแห้งภายในห้องน้ำ จึงเสนอแนะแนวทางการปรับสภาพแวดล้อมตามคำแนะนำจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญ, แนวคิดการออกแบบเพื่อทุกคน และข้อกำหนดหรือมาตรฐานที่เกี่ยวข้อง การวางแผนที่พักอาศัยเบื้องต้นพบว่าผู้สูงอายุส่วนใหญ่วางแผนอาศัยอยู่ภายในพื้นที่เดิม โดยถ้าหากจะต้องพึ่งพิงเพิ่มมากขึ้นในอนาคตมีแนวโน้มที่จะเปลี่ยนจากอาศัยอยู่ที่เดิมลดลงเป็นย้ายออกเพิ่มมากขึ้น โดยในมุมมองของผู้ประกอบการส่วนใหญ่คิดเห็นว่าการพัฒนาที่พักอาศัยสำหรับผู้สูงอายุในอนาคตควรจะอยู่ในสถานที่ หรืออยู่ภายในโครงการเดียวกันเพื่อที่จะสามารถดูแลผู้สูงอายุได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง ครอบคลุมและครบวงจร
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
The situation of the elderly in Thailand in 2022 is that the country will enter a complete aged society. This raises concerns about the places that can support and the elderly reliably. This study on accommodations for elderly people found that there are 4 types of suitable housing: Non-dependent, Semi-dependent, Dependent, and End of Life. The focus is primarily on the development of a Non-dependent (Independent Living: IL) project, which can support the dependence of elderly for a while. However, the problem is when individuals enter a later, more dependent state. The subjects of this study needed to find new housing or modify their current accommodation to better support them. The objectives of this study were to learn about the current environment and future housing planning for the elderly to find a way to solve the current limitations of the environment to better deal with the current state, and also find a way to develop housing for the elderly in the future suitable for Thailand’s aging population. The subjects of the study comprised those who live in the project, people involved in the project and specialists in the field come to a recommendation conclusion. To collect information, we kept records from the questionnaires, surveys and in-depth interviews in five cases studies. The research showed that most samples had a problem with the current environments and limitations of use. Each case study has different problems of usage limitation, but the common problem areas were related to doormats, storage space for shoes, and the division of wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Therefore, guidelines have been recommended for adjusting the environment based on the advice of professionals according to the universal design concept and related requirements or standards. Preliminary housing planning revealed that most of the elderly planned to live within their original housing area. When they become more dependent in the future, they are likely to change from living in the same place to moving out more. In the view of entrepreneurs, most of the opinions that the development of housing for the elderly in the future should be in the same project to be able to provide comprehensive and continuous care for the elderly.
