Abstract
From the stem of Diospyros rubra Lec., three triterpeniods including lupeol, betulin and ursolic acid, together with a mixture of beta-sitosterol and stigmasterol, have been isolated. Identification of these compounds was accomplished by analysis of IR, MS, [superscript 1]H-NMR and [superscript 13]C-NMR data, as well as the comparison with reported values.

จากส่วนลำต้นของพญารากดำ (Diospyros rubra Lec.) สามารถแยกสารในกลุ่มไตรเทอร์ปีนอยด์ได้ 3 ชนิด คือ lupeol, betulin และ ursolic acid รวมทั้งได้สารผสมของ beta-sitosterol และ stigmasterol การพิสูจน์เอกลักษณ์ของสารเหล่านี้ ทำโดยการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล IR, MS, [superscript 1]H-NMR และ [superscript 13]C-NMR ร่วมกับการเปรียบเทียบกับค่าที่ได้มีรายงานไว้แล้ว
