Abstract

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลองแบบสองกลุ่มวัดสองครั้งก่อนและหลังการทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทก่อนและหลังการเข้ากลุ่มช่วยเหลือตนเองและการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจ 2) เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทระหว่างกลุ่มที่ได้เข้ากลุ่มช่วยเหลือตนเองและการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจกับกลุ่มที่ได้รับการดูแลตามปกติ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้ดูแลในครอบครัวผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่พาผู้ป่วยจิตเภทมารับการรักษาหรือรับยาแทนผู้ป่วยที่คลินิกจิตเวช แผนกผู้ป่วยนอก โรงพยาบาลนภาลัย โดยการคัดเลือกแบบเจาะจง จำนวน 30 คน และได้รับการจับคู่แล้วสุ่มเข้ากลุ่มทดลอง และ กลุ่มควบคุม กลุ่มละ15 คน โดยกลุ่มทดลองได้รับการดูแลตามแผนการดำเนินกิจกรรมกลุ่มช่วยเหลือตนเองและการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น ประกอบด้วยการดำเนินกลุ่ม 6 ครั้ง เพื่อลดภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทซึ่งแบ่งออกเป็น 2 มิติ ได้แก่ 1) ภาระเชิงอัตนัย และ 2) ภาระเชิงปรนัย ส่วนกลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการดูแลตามปกติ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ 1) แผนการดำเนินกิจกรรมกลุ่มช่วยเหลือตนเองและการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจ 2) แบบวัดภาระในการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภท และ 3) แบบประเมินพลังอำนาจผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภท ซึ่งผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 5 ท่าน โดยเครื่องมือสองชุดหลัง มีค่าความเที่ยงสัมประสิทธิ์อัลฟาของครอนบาคเท่ากับ เท่ากับ .86 และ เท่ากับ .77 ตามลำดับผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1) ภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภท หลังเข้ากลุ่มช่วยเหลือตนเองและการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจต่ำกว่าก่อนเข้ากลุ่มช่วยเหลือตนเองและการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 2) หลังการทดลอง ภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทของกลุ่มที่เข้ากลุ่มช่วยเหลือตนเองและการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจ ต่ำกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการดูแลตามปกติ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purposes of this two groups pretest-posttest quasi experimental research were : 1) to compare the burden in caring of caregivers of schizophrenic patients before and after the participation in Self-Help Group and Empowerment program, and 2) to compare the burden in caring of schizophrenic patients who participated in Self-Help Group and Empowerment program and those who participated in regular caring activities. A research sample of 30 caregivers who attended schizophrenic patients to Psychiatric clinic, Out-patient unit, Napalai Hospital, were matched pair and then randomly assigned to experimental group and control group, 15 subjects in each group. The experimental group participated in Self-Help Group and Empowerment program composed of 6 group activities to decrease caregivers’ burden, 2 types, 1) subjective burden and 2) objective burden. The control group received regular caring activities. Research instruments were: 1) The Self-Help Group and Empowerment program, 2) The caregiver burden scale, and 3) The Psychological empowerment scale. All instruments were validated for content validity by 5 professional experts. The Chronbach’s Alpha coefficient of reliability of the two scale instruments were .86 and .77, respectively. The t-test was used in data analysis.Major findings were as follows: 1) The burden in caring of caregivers of schizophrenic patients who participated in Self-Help Group and Empowerment program was significantly lower than that before, at .05 level. 2) After the experiment, the burden in caring of caregivers of schizophrenic patients who participated in Self-Help Group and Empowerment program was significantly lower than those caregivers who received regular caring activities at .05 level.
