Abstract

การวิจัยกึ่งทดลองแบบสองกลุ่มวัดสองครั้งก่อนและหลังการทดลองเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์คือ 1) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบทักษะการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทในชุมชนก่อนและหลังได้รับโปรแกรมสุขภาพจิตศึกษาที่เน้นการเสริมสร้างแรงจูงใจ 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบทักษะการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทในชุมชนระหว่างกลุ่มที่ได้รับโปรแกรมสุขภาพจิตศึกษา ที่เน้นการเสริมสร้างแรงจูงใจกับกลุ่มที่ได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทในชุมชนในเขตตำบลโคกคราม อำเภอบางปลาม้า จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติตามเกณฑ์ จำนวน 40 คน แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลองจำนวน 20 คน และกลุ่มควบคุมจำนวน 20 คน กลุ่มทดลองได้รับการดูแลตามโปรแกรมสุขภาพจิตศึกษาที่เน้นการเสริมสร้างแรงจูงใจที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น ประกอบด้วยการดำเนินกลุ่ม 5 ครั้ง เพื่อทำให้ผู้ดูแลสามารถพัฒนาทักษะที่มีประสิทธิภาพโดยเป็นกิจกรรมในการดูแลผู้ป่วย 3 ด้านคือ 1) ด้านการดำเนินชีวิตร่วมกับผู้ป่วย 2) ทักษะการดูแลด้านอาการที่เกิดจากภาวะโรค 3) ทักษะการดูแลด้านการบริหารยา ส่วนกลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการดูแลตามปกติ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ 1) โปรแกรมสุขภาพจิตศึกษาที่เน้นการเสริมสร้างแรงจูงใจ 2) แบบวัดทักษะการดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภท และ 3) แบบวัดแรงจูงใจของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภท ซึ่งผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 5 ท่าน โดยเครื่องมือสองชุดหลัง มีค่าความเที่ยงสัมประสิทธิ์อัลฟาของครอนบาคเท่ากับ 0.94 และ 0.82 ตามลำดับ ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1) ทักษะการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทในชุมชนหลังได้รับโปรแกรมสุขภาพจิตศึกษาที่เน้นการเสริมสร้างแรงจูงใจ สูงกว่าก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมสุขภาพจิตศึกษาที่เน้นการเสริมสร้างแรงจูงใจ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 2) ทักษะการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทในชุมชน กลุ่มที่ได้รับโปรแกรมสุขภาพจิตศึกษาที่เน้นการเสริมสร้างแรงจูงใจ สูงกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการดูแลตามปกติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purposes of this quasi-experimental research using the pretest-posttest design were: 1) to compare the caregiving skills among caregivers of schizophrenic patients in community before and after received the psychoeducation program emphasizing motivational interviewing, and 2) to compare the caregiving skills among caregivers of schizophrenic patients in community who received psychoeducation program emphasizing motivational interviewing and those who received regular caring activities. Forty of caregivers’ schizophrenic patients receiving services in outpatient department, Bangplama Hospital, who met the inclusion criteria, were matched pair and then randomly assigned to experimental group and control group, 20 subjects in each group. The experimental group received the psychoeducation program emphasizing motivational interviewing composed of 5 group activities to improve efficient skills among caregivers. The group took care of patients in 3 aspects as 1. Living with patients 2. Symptom management skill and 3. Prescription management skill. The control group received regular caring activities. Research instruments were: 1) the psychoeducation program emphasizing motivational interviewing, 2) The Caregiving Skills Test, and 3) The Motivational Ladder Test. All instruments were validated for content validity by 5 professional experts. The Chronbach’s Alpha coefficient reliability of the two latter instruments were 0.94 and 0.82, respectively. The t-test was used in data analysis. Major findings were as follows: 1. The caregiving skills among caregivers of schizophrenic patients in community who received the psychoeducation program emphasizing motivational interviewing was significantly better than that before, at the.05 level. 2. The caregiving skills among caregivers of schizophrenic patients in community who received the psychoeducation program emphasizing motivational interviewing was significantly better than those who received regular caring activities at the.05 level.
