Abstract
การศึกษาภาคตัดขวางนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหาอัตราความชุกและปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ ความผิดปกติทางระบบกล้ามเนื้อและกระดูกโครงร่างในคนงานไร่อ้อย เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์ในคนงานไร่อ้อยทั้งหมดที่ทำงานในไร่อ้อย ต.บ้านเม็ง อ.หนองเรือ จ.ขอนแก่น จำนวน 219 คน ในช่วงเดือน มิถุนายน 2551 ถึง เมษายน 2552 ผลการศึกษาพบว่า อัตราความชุกของความผิดปกติทางระบบกล้ามเนื้อและกระดูกโครงร่างในคนงานไร่อ้อย ใน 12 เดือน เท่ากับ 72.6% สัดส่วนของความผิดปกติเมื่อจำแนกตามตำแหน่ง พบว่า ส่วนของร่างกายที่มีความผิดปกติมากที่สุด 3 อันดับแรก ได้แก่ หลังส่วนล่าง (26.4%) ไหล่ข้างขวา (17.0%) และหลังส่วนบน (15.5%) ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความผิดปกติทางระบบกล้ามเนื้อและกระดูกโครงร่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ได้แก่ งานบำรุงรักษา ท่าทางการทำงานโดยกางแขนออกจากลำตัว รวมกันมากกว่า 2 ชั่วโมงต่อวัน และทำงานในท่าเดิมๆซ้ำๆ ติดต่อกันรวมกันมากกว่า 2 ชั่วโมงต่อวัน ผลการศึกษานี้บ่งชี้ว่าคนงานไร่อ้อยมีความชุกของความผิดปกติทางระบบกล้ามเนื้อและกระดูกโครงร่างสูง โดยเฉพาะบริเวณหลังส่วนล่าง บริเวณไหล่ขวา และบริเวณหลังส่วนบน ซึ่งเกี่ยวข้องกับปัจจัยจากการทำงาน หน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบควรกำหนดแนวทางในการป้องกันการเกิดความผิดปกติดังกล่าว ที่มีประสิทธิผลในคนงานไร่อ้อยในประเทศไทยต่อไป
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
The purposes of this cross sectional study were to determine the prevalence rate and related factors of musculoskeletal disorders in sugar cane workers. Data were collected by using interview questionnaire of totally 219 sugar cane workers in Tambon Banmeng, Amphoe Nong Ruea, Khon Kaen Province from June 2008 to April 2009. Result showed that the prevalence rate of musculoskeletal disorders was 72.6%. The proportions of the three body parts with the highest musculoskeletal disorders were lower back (26.4%), right shoulder (17.0%), and upper back (15.5%). Factors significantly related to musculoskeletal disorders were the maintenance work, extending arms out of body 2 hours totally per day and working with repetitive movement 2 hours totally per day. Results indicated that the sugar cane workers had high prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders. These disorders were associated with work-related factors. Responsible agency should set up an effective guideline for prevention of these associated factors among sugar cane workers in Thailand.
