Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบลักษณะนักศึกษาวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี และสถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ รวมทั้งเปรียบเทียบลักษณะนักศึกษาวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้า จำแนกตามสถานภาพทางเศรษฐกิจของครอบครัว โดยผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาหาลักษณะนักศึกษาจากเอกสารแนวคิดทฤษฎีต่างๆ และการสัมภาษณ์คณาจารย์ที่สอนนักศึกษาวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ต่อจากนั้นได้ทำการศึกษานำร่อง (PILOT STUDY) กับนักศึกษาวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ทั้ง 3 แห่ง แล้วนำผลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์ตัวประกอบเพื่อจัดกลุ่มลักษณะนักศึกษาวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ได้ 6 ลักษณะ คือ ลักษณะความมั่นใจในการทำงาน ลักษณะความคิดริเริ่มสร้างสรรค์ ลักษณะความซื่อสัตย์ในหน้าที่ ลักษณะความมีระเบียบแบบแผน ลักษณะความเป็นผู้นำ และลักษณะการใฝ่รู้ในวิชาชีพ จึงนำผลที่ได้ไปใช้กับประชากร คือ นักศึกษาวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ชั้นปีที่ 4 ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2535 ของสถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้า ทั้งสามแห่ง ผลการวิจัพบว่า นักศึกษาทั้งสามสถาบันมีลักษณะความมั่นใจในการทำงาน ลักษณะความซื่อสัตย์ในหน้าที่ ลักษณะความีระเบียบแบบแผนอยู่ในระดับมาก และมีลักษณะความคิดริเริ่มสร้างสรรค์ ลักษณะความเป็นผู้นำ ลักษณะการใฝ่รู้ในวิชาชีพอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง โดยนักศึกษาทั้งสามสถาบันมีลักษณะดังกล่าวไม่แตกต่างกัน นอกจากนี้พบว่านักศึกษาที่มีสถานภาพทางเศรษฐกิจต่างกัน มีลักษณะความมั่นใจในการทำงานลักษณะความคิดริเริ่มสร้างสรรค์ ลักษณะความซื่อสัตย์ในหน้าที่ และลักษณะความเป็นผู้นำแตกต่างกัน
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
The purposes of this research study were to investigate and compare the characteristics of engineering student from all three branches of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology: Lard Krabang, Thonburi and North Bangkok. The characteristics of engineering student were also compared among the family’s economical status. The researcher investigated characteristics from various documents, ideas and theories, together with interviewing lecturers of the students. Afterwards, the pilot study with the three institutes were done, analysis of data included grouping of the characteristics of engineering student could be six categories: Self Confidence, Creativity, Honesty, Disciplinary, Leadership and Vocational Interests. The results were done with the population were the three-Institute-Engineering-senior students taking the first semester of the year 1992. The findings revealed that all the students show high confidence, Honesty and Disciplinary, whereas Creativity, Leadership and Vocational Interests in medium level, the characteristics of three institute students did not differ among themselves. Besides, the students with different economical status showed different characteristics e.g. Self Confidence, Creativity, Honesty and Leadership.
