Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มีจุดบุ่งหมายเพี่อศึกษาพระนิพนธ์บทละครรำในพระเจ้าบรมวงษ์เธอ กรมพระนราธิปประพันธ์พงศ์ ประเภทละครพันทางและละครเสภา จำนวน 14 เรื่อง ทางด้านเนื้อหา ที่มา คำประพันธ์ แบบแผนการแต่ง และคุณค่าในฐานะวรรณคดีการแสดง ผลการศึกษาสรุปได้ว่า ละครพันทางในพระองค์เป็นละครที่ปรับปรุงขึ้นใหม่โดยการผสมผสานแนวคิดและลักษณะการแสดงประเภทต่าง ๆ ทั้งละครนอก ละครใน ละครผสมสามัคคี และละครดึกดำบรรพ์ แล้วพัฒนาขึ้นจนมีลักษณะเฉพาะของตนเอง คือ เป็นละครที่เน้นความตลกขบขน และการดำเนินเรื่องที่รวดเร็วแบบละครนอก มีการออกภาษาแบบละครผสมสามัคคีใช้ผู้หญิงแสดง เน้นท่ารำที่งดงาม และดนตรีที่ไพเราะแบบละครใน มีการตกแต่งและเปลี่ยนฉากไปตามเนื้อเรื่อง โดยใด้เทคนิคสมัยใหม่เด้ามาเพี่อให้สมจริงและชวนตื่นตาตี่นใจ รวมทั้งมีเพลงที่หลากหลายแบบละครดึกดำบรรพ์ พระนิพนธ์บทละครรำทั้ง 14 เรื่องนี้มีลักษณะเฉพาะของตนเองซึ่งสอดคล้องแก่ลักษณะการแสดง เป็นบทละครที่รวมแนวคิดและลักษณะการแสดงที่หลากหลายทั้งในด้านการดำเนินเรื่องแบบแผนการแต่ง และคำประพันธ์ เป็นบทละครที่มีแบบแผนเฉพาะในการแต่ง และให้ความสำคัญ แก่การให้คติสอนใจแก่ผู้ชม พระนิพนธ์บทละครรำจึงเป็นบทละครสำเร็จรูปที่ประณีตและพร้อมให้นำไปแสดงได้ทันทีให้รายละเอียดที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการแสดงได้อย่างชัดเจน ทำให้มีผู้นิยมและนำไปเป็นแบบอย่างให้แก่การแสดงของตนอย่างกว้างขวางและสืบทอดมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน พระนิพนธ์บทละครรำมีคุณค่าทั้งทางด้านที่เป็นบทสำหรับแสดงละครและบทที่ได้สำหรับอ่านเพราะด้วยสร้างจินตนาการ ได้อย่างแจ่มชัด ทั้งยังมีรายละเอียดที่เพิ่มความมีชีวิตชีวาให้แก่ผู้อ่านได้เป็นอย่างดี

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The thesis is a study of the fourteen dance drama plays of Prince Narathippraphanphong in term of content origin, versification, literary conventions and values. The study reveals that the texts are dance drama plays adapted from the concepts of Lakhom Nok, Lakhom Nai, Lakhom Pasom Samakee and Lakhom Dukdambun in order to create uniqueness of the texts. This uniqueness lies in the emphasis on being comedies with a swift development of Lakhom Nok, a parody of dialects of Lakhom Samakee, a use of actresses, a refine dancing and music of Lakhom Nai, an elaborate and realistic setting as well as a variety of melodies of Lakhom Dukdambun. The fourteen texts have this uniqueness corresponding to the quality of dramatic performance as they combine concepts and characteristics of various plays in term of story development, versification and literary conventions as well as giving moral lessons to the audience. Thus, we can say that these texts are properly created as ready-made plays with all practical details. This quality has enhanced the popularity of the plays from the past till the present. It is obvious that the dance drama plays of Prince Narathippraphanphong have invaluable merits both as texts for performance and for reading as they induce great imagination and vivid details in the mind of the audience and the reader
