Abstract

วิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบและอธิบายถึงเป้าหมายและแนวทาง ในการปลูกฝังลัทธิชาตินิยมผ่านหนังสือพิมพ์ ตลอดจนเพื่อวิเคราะห์ถึงบทบาทหน้าที่และวิธีการปลูกฝัง ลัทธิชาตินิยมของหนังสือพิมพ์ในรัชสมัย พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว และสมัยจอมพล ป.พิบูลสงคราม โดยศึกษาจากเนื้อหาที่สะท้อนถึงแนวคิดและอุดมการ การปลูกฝังลัทธิชาตินิยมของหนังสือพิมพ์ ทั้ง 12 ชื่อฉบับ ที่คัดเลือกมาเป็นกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า หนังสือพิมพ์ในรัชสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว และสมัยจอมพล ป. พิบูลสงคราม ถูกนำมาใช้เป็นเครื่องมือในการปลูกฝังลัทธิชาตินิยม เช่นเดียวกันโดยจอมพล ป.พิบูลสงครามนั้น ได้นำแนวทางการปลูกฝังลัทธิชาตินิยม ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวมาใช้ แต่ด้วยบริบททางการเมือง เศรษฐกิจและสังคมที่แตกต่างกัน ทำให้การปลูกฝังลัทธิชาตินิยมแตกต่างกันไปด้วย ในขณะที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว มุ่งเน้นการปลูกฝังลัทธิชาตินิยมไปที่ ชาติ ศาสนา พระมหากษัตริย์ จอมพล ป. พิบูลสงคราม กลับเน้นไปที่ (รัฐ) ชาติ ทหาร ผู้นำ และวัฒนธรรม อย่างไรก็ตาม แนวคิดต่างๆ ที่นำมาสัมพันธ์กันในการปลูกฝังลัทธิชาตินิยมทั้งหมดนั้น ถูกนำเสนอออกมาในลักษณะเดียวกัน การเน้นย้ำในอำนาจกษัตริย์ อำนาจของผู้นำ และความมั่นคงทางทหารนั้น ก็แสดงให้เห็นสัญลักษณ์สำคัญของการสร้างชาติว่า คือการเน้นที่ความสำคัญของนักรบ ซึ่งอาจกล่าวได้ว่าแม้แนวคิดหรือการปลูกฝังลัทธิชาตินิยม จะแสดงออกในลักษณะที่แตกต่างกัน แต่ความเป็นจริงแล้วก็มีความต้องการในลักษณะเดียวกันในทุกยุคสมัยคือ เพื่อให้เห็นความสำคัญของสถานะเดิมๆ ในสังคมนั่นเอง

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

To find out, compare and explain about objective and guideline of cultivating nationalism through newspapers, including analyzing the role, duties and method of cultivating nationalism of newspapers in the reign of King Vajiravudh and Prime Minister Pibulsongkram's government by studying the substance that reflects the idea and philosophy of cultivating nationalism of all the 12 newspapers selected as group samples. It was found that newspapers, both in the reign of King Vajiravudh and Prime Minister Pibulsongkram's government were utilized as tool in cultivating nationalism. Prime Minister Pibulsongkram adopted guideline of cultivating nationalism of King Vajiravudh but used it with different wordings in political, economical and social environments, which, as a result, nationalism cultivating became different. While King Vajiravudh emphasized Nationalism cultivation on Nation, Religion and King, Prime Minister Pibulsongkram stressed it on state, military soldiers, leader and culture. However, various ideas for nationalism cultivating that were put together, were presented in the same characteristic; that is the emphasis on power of the King, and of the leader, and stability of the army which represents that-important factor of constructing the Nation is the emphasis on the importance of the warriors, which we can simply say that although the ideas are differently expressed, or cultivation of Nationalism are differently conducted, in every era, it contains the fact that all of them have the same desire which is the desire for importance of status quo of the society.
