Abstract

งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสัมพันธบทด้านความคิดของเรื่องและภาพลักษณ์ตัวละครของบทละครเวทีเรื่องสาวิตรีทั้งห้าฉบับที่สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นโดยศิลปินชาวไทย รวมถึงศึกษากระบวนการสร้างสรรค์บทละครเวทีร่วมสมัยเพื่อสื่อสารแนวคิดอุดมคติแห่งรัก โดยผู้วิจัยทำหน้าที่เป็นผู้เขียนบทละครและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการละคร นอกจากนี้ได้สำรวจทัศนคติของผู้ชมการแสดงและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านศิลปะการละครที่มีต่อผลงานสร้างสรรค์ด้วย ผลการวิจัยส่วนแรกว่าด้วยสัมพันธบทพบว่า บทละครเรื่องสาวิตรีฉบับต่างๆที่นำมาศึกษาสามารถจำแนกได้สอง กลุ่ม ได้แก่ กลุ่มแรกคือกลุ่มที่รักษาความคิดของเรื่องและภาพลักษณ์ตัวละครนางสาวิตรีคงไว้เหมือนตัวบทต้นทาง กล่าวคือ บทละครร้องเรื่องสาวิตรี พระราชนิพนธ์ในพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว กลุ่มที่สองมีการดัดแปลงความคิดของเรื่องให้สอดคล้องกับสังคมปัจจุบันและดัดแปลงภาพลักษณ์ตัวละครนางสาวิตรีให้มีความเป็นมนุษย์มากยิ่งขึ้น ผลการวิจัยส่วนที่สองว่าด้วยการสร้างสรรค์บทละครเวทีร่วมสมัยจากวรรณคดีการละครเรื่องสาวิตรี เพื่อสื่อสารแนวคิดเรื่องอุดมคติแห่งรัก พบว่าการสร้างสรรค์บทละครเวทีซึ่งมีที่มาจากวรรณคดี ผู้เขียนบทละครจำต้องมีความเข้าใจอย่างแตกฉาน ความเคารพในตัวบทวรรณคดี และความคิดสร้างสรรค์ นอกจากนั้นพบว่าโครงเรื่องเชิงเส้น เป็นแนวทางที่เหมาะสมสำหรับการเขียนบทละครในรูปแบบละครเพลง เพราะทำให้ผู้ชมการแสดงสามารถติดตามเรื่องราวได้ง่ายไม่สับสน อย่างไรก็ดีการเชื่อมโยงระหว่างฉากที่มีการข้ามมิติของห้วงเวลาจำต้องได้รับการระมัดระวังเป็นพิเศษ ประการสำคัญ คือ ผู้วิจัยได้ขยายขอบเขตนิยามของอุดมคติแห่งรักให้กว้างขวางยิ่งขึ้น กล่าวคือ มิได้จำกัดเพียงความกล้าหาญและเสียสละที่คู่รักพึงมีแก่กันเท่านั้นไม่ แต่ได้หมายรวมถึงความรักที่มนุษย์จักมีต่อครอบครัว สังคม และประเทศชาติของตนด้วย ส่วนสุดท้ายว่าด้วยทัศนคติของผู้ชมการแสดงพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างร้อยละ 90.8 เข้าใจความคิดของเรื่องจากบทละครที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างสรรค์ขึ้นใหม่ได้ถูกต้อง กล่าวคือ ความรักที่แท้จริงต้องกล้าหาญและเสียสละเพื่อประโยชน์ส่วนรวมมากกว่าความสุขส่วนตน อีกทั้งพบว่าองค์ประกอบด้านบทละครที่ผู้ชมการแสดงพึงพอใจมากที่สุด คือบทละครมีความเหมาะสมและสอดคล้องกับเหตุการณ์ปัจจุบัน คิดเป็นค่าเฉลี่ย 4.36 และความคิดหรือประเด็นของเรื่องในบทละครมีความชัดเจน คิดเป็นค่าเฉลี่ย 4.22

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

There are three purposes of this research. First, is to analyze the intertextuality of five Savitri play scripts which were written by Thai playwrights, focusing on the thought and the image of protagonist. Second, is to act as playwright and dramaturg along the process of writing a new play script to communicate the ideal of love and also being a consultant for the director. Third, is to investigate audiences' opinion and experts’ comment about this new creation. All Savitri play scripts can separate into two groups. First, is a conservative group which narrated the same thought and the same protagonist's image in accordance with the original text. Another one is an adaptation group which changed the thought to relate with social context nowadays and humanize the protagonist's image. As a playwright, to retell Savitri from literature to theatre need three special qualifications which are understanding, respect and creativity. Moreover, the linear plot becomes a right direction to write a musical because it helps audiences to follow the story more comfortable and catch up the thought of the play easier. About the transition between the time of the character's world, playwrights have to be careful to make it clear for audiences. The definition of the ideal of love is extended to a scope of bravery and sacrifice for public which includes family, society and nation, instead of for a couple only. The result of statistic shows the value of 90.8 percents of audiences understand the thought about ideal of love from this new creation. The most two elements from the play script that makes the audiences satisfied the play are the narration of present social situation and the thought of the play is presented clearly.
