Abstract
การศึกษาอิสระแบบกลุ่มเดียววัดผลก่อนและหลังนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบภาวะซึมเศร้าของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่ใช้สารเสพติดร่วม ก่อนและหลังการเข้าร่วมกลุ่มจิตบำบัดประคับประคอง กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่ใช้สารเสพติดร่วมที่มีภาวะซึมเศร้า จำนวน 20 ราย ซึ่งได้รับการเลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงตามเกณฑ์คุณสมบัติจากแผนกผู้ป่วยใน สถาบันจิตเวชศาสตร์ สมเด็จเจ้าพระยา เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือ แผนการทำกลุ่มจิตบำบัดประคับประคอง ซึ่งผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหา โดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 3 ท่าน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือแบบประเมินภาวะซึมเศร้าของเบค (Beck Depression Inventory, 1967) และเครื่องมือกำกับการศึกษาคือแบบประเมินการเห็นคุณค่าในตนเองของคูเปอร์สมิทธิ์ (Coopersmith Self-Estecm Inventory, 1984 Adult Form) โดยแบบประเมินทั้ง 2 ชุด มีค่าความเที่ยงสัมประสิทธิ์อัลฟาของ ครอนบาคเท่ากับ .87 และ.73 ตามลำคับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติทดสอบที (pair t-test) ผลการศึกษาที่สำคัญ สรุปได้ดังนี้ ค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนภาวะซึมเศร้าของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่ใช้สารเสพติดร่วม ภายหลังการเข้าร่วมกลุ่มจิตบำบัดประคับประคองต่ำกว่าก่อนเข้ากลุ่มจิตบำบัดประคับประคอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 (1= 15.42)

The purpose of this one group pretest-posttest design independent study was to compare depression among schizophrenic patients with substance misuse at Somdet Chaopraya Institute of Psychiatry before and after received group supportive psychotherapy. A purposive sample of 20 depressive schizophrenic patient with substance misuse who met the inclusion criteria were recuited from in patient department, Somdet Chaopraya Institute of Psychiatry. The instruments utilized in this study was group supportive psychotherapy plan which was validated by 3 professional experts. Data were collected using Beck Depression Inventory Scale (1967). Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (1984) was used as a monitoring instrument. Chronbach's Alpha coefficient reliability of the two latter instruments were .87 and .73 respectively. The pair t - test and descriptive statistics were used in data analysis. Major findings were as follows: The mean depression score of schizophrenic patient with substance misuse, Somdet Chaopraya Institute of Psychiatry after attending group supportive psychotherapy was significantly lower than that before at the 0.05 level (t=15.42).
