Abstract
งานวิจัยนี้มุ่งศึกษาทำความเข้าใจหลักคิดของคติในวิถีเรือนพื้นถิ่นไทยพุทธ ต.พร่อน อ.ตากใบ จ.นราธิวาส เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นถึงความสัมพันธ์ที่สอดคล้องกันระหว่างคติพุทธ รูปแบบและกระบวนการก่อสร้างเรือนพื้นถิ่น ผู้วิจัยทำการศึกษาโดยใช้วิธีเก็บข้อมูล วิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ และสรุปผล โดยศึกษาทั้งภาคเอกสาร และสำรวจภาคสนามเพื่อให้ได้ข้อมูลอันครบถ้วน ได้แก่ หลักธรรม สภาพแวดล้อม ประวัติศาสตร์การตั้งถิ่นฐาน วิถีเรือน และวิถีถิ่น ซี่งแสดงออกในรูปแบบของวิถีชีวิต ขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณี พิธีกรรม ตามคติความเชื่อของท้องถิ่น จากการศึกษาพบว่า วัดเป็นศูนย์รวมจิตใจของชุมชน โดยมีพระรัตนตรัยเป็นสิ่งยึดเหนี่ยวสูงสุด วิถีถิ่นสอดคล้องกับคติพุทธที่ชุมชนศรัทธา อันมีเป้าหมายเพื่อพัฒนาชีวิตไปสู่นิโรธ ด้วยการศึกษาด้าน ศีล สมาธิ และปัญญา ประกอบด้วยวิถีปฏิบัติ 8 ข้อ เรียกว่า "อริยมรรค" วิถีชีวิตของชาวพร่อนจึงเปี่ยมไปด้วยการเจริญสติ รู้กาลเทสะ มีความอ่อนน้อมถ่อมตน กตัญญูกตเวที สันโดษ และปฏิบัติต่อสรรพสิ่งด้วยความเกื้อกูล พุทธวิถีดังกล่าวได้ส่งผลไปสู่รูปแบบ และกระบวนการสร้างเรือนพื้นถิ่น ที่เอื้อให้ร่างกายและจิตใจมีความสงบ อันเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญในการศึกษาพัฒนาชีวิตในวิถีพุทธ เรียกว่า "มณฑลศักดิ์สิทธิ์" โดยมีหลักเกณฑ์สำคัญ 3 ข้อ ได้แก่ การนำนิมิตรหมายมาใช้เป็นหลักยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจ, การสร้างมณฑลศักดิ์สิทธิ์เพื่อให้เกิดสมาธิ, และการสร้างพื้นที่สัปปายะเพื่อให้เกิดความสงบทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจ นอกจากนี้จักรวาลชีวิตชาวพร่อน ยังสอดคล้องกับคติพุทธ ด้วยมณฑลที่มีองค์ประกอบสมบูรณ์ 5 ประการ ได้แก่ สิ่งยึดเหนี่ยวทางใจ, ที่อยู่อาศัย, แหล่งน้ำ, ที่ทำกิน, และป่า ทั้งในมิติของเรือนและชุมชน กล่าวได้ว่าชาวพร่อนเข้าใจหลักคิดของการดำเนินชีวิตด้วยปัญญาญาณ โดยรู้เท่าทันสภาวะและประสานกลมกลืนกับความจริงของธรรมชาติ มีความเบิกบาน และเป็นอิสระจากความทุกข์
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
This study aims at acquiring an understanding of the underlying principles of the vernacular houses in Pron Subdistrict, Takbai District, Narathiwat Province and indicating the relationship between the Buddhist principles and the patterns and construction process of the vernacular houses. To reach the conclusion of this study, data collection, data analysis as well as data synthesis were conducted through documents and fieldwork concerning the Buddhist principles, the environment, the history of Pron people's settlement, the vernacular houses, and the local living that is reflected in Pron people's ways of life, traditions, cultures and rites according to local beliefs. The findings interestingly reveal that temples function as the spiritual center where the "Triple Gem", the most important Buddhist element, is highly respected by Pron people. Their ways of living, unquestionably, are in accordance with the Buddhist principles – in other words, they improve their lives in order to end suffering through the learning of the "Threefold Training System" and the "Noble Eightfold Path". Due to the deep-rooted belief in Buddhism, Pron people, as a result, become mindful, behave with propriety, stay humble, are grateful to others, live a solitary life, and are supportive of all beings. Their Buddhist ways of living also result in the patterns and construction of their vernacular houses, which bring about physical and mental tranquility considered as the significant fundamental for the Buddhist self-improvement. Their houses, regarded as the sacred place, follow the three outstanding criteria for construction: the use of fortunate signs as spiritual anchors of house residents, the construction of the sacred place to bring about concentration, and the construction of the suitable place for physical and mental tranquility. It can best be said that Pron people's lives are well in line with the Buddhist principles since their houses and community are surrounded by five proper elements, including spiritual anchors, residence, water resource, land, and forests. It can thus be concluded that they use wisdom to conduct their ways of living, understand the condition of nature and harmonize with the facts of nature, as well as are delightful and free from suffering.
