Abstract
การวิจัยเรื่อง "การสื่อสารความหมายใหม่ของตัวละครสำมนักขาผ่านการแสดงฉุยฉายร่วมสมัย" เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์ (Creative Research) ที่มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการวิจัย 1) เพื่อศึกษาการสร้างความหมายใหม่และสร้างสรรค์ตัวละครนางสำมนักขาผ่านการแสดงฉุยฉายร่วมสมัย และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาการรับรู้ความหมายใหม่ของตัวละครนางสำมนักขาผ่านการแสดงฉุยฉายร่วมสมัย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) การสร้างสรรค์การแสดง ฉุยฉายนางสำมนักขาร่วมสมัย สามารถนำองค์ประกอบในการแสดง "ฉุยฉาย" มาประยุกต์ใช้ผ่านกระบวนท่าทางการร่ายรำในรูปแบบนาฏยศิลป์ไทยร่วมสมัย ผนวกกับการนำทั้งบทร้องดั้งเดิมของการแสดงฉุยฉายศูรปนขา และบทเพลงสมัยนิยม มาเป็นสื่อกลางในการถ่ายทอดเนื้อหาเรื่องราวและอารมณ์ของตัวละคร รวมถึงความสามารถในการถ่ายทอดอารมณ์ของตัวละครผ่านการแสดงเดี่ยว เพื่อใช้ในการสื่อสารหมายใหม่ให้กับตัวละครนางสำมนักขา ผ่านรูปแบบการแสดงฉุยฉายร่วมสมัย การจัดการแสดง "ฉุยฉายนางสำมนักขาร่วมสมัย" พบว่า ผู้ชมและผู้เชี่ยวชาญเห็นว่า รูปแบบและองค์ประกอบในการแสดงสามารถสื่อสารความหมายใหม่ในความเป็นมนุษย์ให้กับตัวละครนางสำมนักขาได้ แต่ทั้งนี้ก็ขึ้นอยู่กับพื้นฐานความรู้ของผู้ชมเกี่ยวกับนางสำมนักขาด้วย และผู้ชมมีความรู้สึกเอื้ออาทรต่อนางสำมนักขาแตกต่างไปจากเดิม ส่วนทัศนคติของผู้ชมพบว่า รูปแบบในการจัดการแสดง เป็นส่วนที่ผู้ชมชื่นชอบมากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 54.12 ผู้แสดงสามารถถ่ายทอดเนื้อเรื่องและอารมณ์ได้ในระดับ มากที่สุด (M=4.34) เนื้อหาในการแสดงมีความน่าสนใจในระดับ มาก (M=4.04) บทร้องและดนตรีมีความเหมาะสมต่อการแสดงในระดับ มาก (M=3.93) และผู้ชมมีทัศนคติต่อตัวละครนางสำมนักขาแตกต่างไปจากเดิม คิดเป็นร้อยละ 76.47

This thesis is a creative research that aims to study the new meaning of female giant character with feminist concepts. Then create a contemporary CHUI CHAY performance and study the meaning of the character through the performance. The research found that the performance is applied through the composition of the original CHUI CHUY performance in a new contemporary Thai dance styles. Together with the original lyrics of CHUI CHAY performance and contemporary songs in this period of time. As a medium to convey the story and emotions of the character. Including the ability to convey the emotions of the character through the performer. In order to communicate the new meaning to SHURAPANAKHA character which made this character looks more humanity. Through the style of contemporary CHUI CHUY performance. Expert spectators revealed that the elements of the performance can communicate the meaning of humanity to the character. But it depends on the knowledge base of the audience about this character.
