วัตถุประสงค์
“วารสารกฎหมาย จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย” เป็นวารสารทางวิชาการด้านนิติศาสตร์ จัดพิมพ์โดย คณะนิติศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย มีเป้าหมายและขอบเขตเพื่อเผยแพร่ความรู้ทางวิชาการด้านนิติศาสตร์หรือความรู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับนิติศาสตร์ที่มีเนื้อหาน่าสนใจ ทันสมัย ริเริ่มสร้างสรรค์ และมีข้อเสนอที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อวงการวิชาการด้านนิติศาสตร์และต่อสังคม
กำหนดการตีพิมพ์
วารสารกฎหมาย จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย มีกำหนดการตีพิมพ์ปีละ 4 ฉบับ ราย 3 เดือน ดังนี้
- ฉบับที่ 1 เดือนมกราคม ถึงเดือนมีนาคม
- ฉบับที่ 2 เดือนเมษายน ถึงเดือนมิถุนายน
- ฉบับที่ 3 เดือนกรกฎาคม ถึงเดือนกันยายน
- ฉบับที่ 4 เดือนตุลาคม ถึงเดือนธันวาคม
ประเภทของผลงานทางวิชาการที่รับตีพิมพ์
วารสารกฎหมาย จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย จะพิจารณารับตีพิมพ์ผลงานที่มีลักษณะดังต่อไปนี้
1. บทความวิชาการ หมายถึง บทความที่นำเสนอข้อมูลใหม่ ๆ ในสาขานิติศาสตร์ และแสดงการวิเคราะห์หรือวิจารณ์ข้อมูลนั้นทั้งในเชิงทฤษฎี นิตินโยบาย หรือทางปฏิบัติ และให้ข้อเสนอแนะที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อวงการวิชาการสาขาวิชานิติศาสตร์และต่อสังคมในวงกว้าง ทั้งนี้ บทความวิชาการควรประกอบด้วย ความนำ เนื้อเรื่อง ซึ่งแบ่งเป็นประเด็นหลัก ประเด็นรอง ประเด็นย่อย และบทสรุป
2. บทความวิจัย หมายถึง บทความที่มีฐานมาจากงานวิจัยสาขานิติศาสตร์ และแสดงข้อค้นพบจากงานวิจัยนั้นอย่างเป็นระบบ ทั้งนี้ บทความวิจัยควรประกอบด้วย ความเป็นมาและความสำคัญของปัญหา วัตถุประสงค์ สมมติฐานของงานวิจัย (ถ้ามี) ขอบเขตที่ครอบคลุมในการวิจัย ประโยชน์ที่คาดว่าจะได้รับ เอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย (เช่น ข้อมูลประชากร กลุ่มตัวอย่าง การสุ่มตัวอย่าง เครื่องมือการวิจัย การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล เป็นต้น) ผลการวิจัย (สรุปผลการวิจัย อภิปรายผลและข้อเสนอแนะ)
3. ปกิณกะกฎหมาย หมายถึง บทความขนาดสั้นที่นำเสนอประเด็นที่น่าสนใจทางกฎหมาย รวมถึงการวิเคราะห์คำพิพากษาฎีกา หรือวิเคราะห์กฎหมายที่ได้รับการแก้ไขหรือบัญญัติใหม่
ภาษาที่รับตีพิมพ์
วารสารกฎหมาย จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย รับตีพิมพ์ผลงานที่เขียนเป็นภาษาไทย และ/หรือ ภาษาอังกฤษ
ลักษณะการประเมินบทความ
บทความวิชาการและบทความวิจัยทุกชิ้นจะต้องผ่านการประเมินโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิอย่างน้อย 3 ท่าน ที่กองบรรณาธิการพิจารณาคัดเลือกแล้วเห็นว่าเป็นผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญตรงตามสาขาวิชาของเนื้อหาที่นำเสนอในบทความ และการประเมินดังกล่าวเป็นการประเมินลับทั้งสองทาง (Double-blinded peer review)

Aim and Scope
“Chulalongkorn University Law Journal” is an academic journal of Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University which publishes scholarly works within the scope of or relating to law. The aim is to disseminate academic articles and research articles that fall within the scope of the journal whose contents are, in the view of the editorial board, interesting, timely, creative, as well as containing recommendations which are useful for legal academia and the general public.
Publication Frequency
Chulalongkorn University Law Journal is published every three months as follows:
- Issue No.1 (January-March)
- Issue No.2 (April-June)
- Issue No.3 (July-September)
- Issue No.4 (October-December)
Categories of Accepted Manuscripts
Chulalongkorn University Law Journal welcomes submissions of manuscripts, which fall within the following categories:
1. Academic articles must illustrate new information in the scope of or relating to law and provide analysis or critique of such information from theoretical, policy-oriented or practical perspectives, as well as providing recommendations that are useful for legal academia and the general public. Academic articles should contain introduction and contents, which are divided into main issues, subordinate issues and conclusion.
2. Research articles must be based on legal research and illustrate one or more of the findings from such research in a systematic manner. Research articles should contain introduction, illustration of the importance of the issue, research objective, hypothesis (if applicable), research scope, expected contributions, related research or literatures, research methodology (such as population, sample, data collection, data analysis), research findings, conclusion and recommendations.
3. Notes and Comments include a short piece presenting an interesting analysis of law such as the comments on the recent judgment or the analysis of the newly enacted law or amended law
Language
Chulalongkorn University Law Journal welcomes submissions of manuscripts in Thai and/or English language.
Peer Review
Each academic and research articles shall be peer reviewed using the double-blinded process by at least three qualified individuals, whom the Editorial Board carefully select owing to their expertise corresponded with the substance presented in the articles.
Methods of Publication
Chulalongkorn University Law Journal is published in online versions.
