Abstract
การผลิตเครื่องปั้นดินเผาในชุมชนภาคอีสาน เป็นอาชีพที่อยู่คู่กับวิถีชีวิตของคนอีสานมาตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน โดยส่วนใหญ่เป็นชุมชนที่มีการผลิตแบบโบราณ ซึ่งถือเป็นภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นที่มีคุณค่า โดยในปัจจุบันผู้ประกอบอาชีพการผลิตเครื่องปั้นดินเผาในภาคอีสานได้ลดจำนวนลงอย่างต่อเนื่อง เป็นผลมาจากความนิยมต่อการใช้เครื่องปั้นดินเผาในวิถีชีวิตคนในปัจจุบันลดลง เนื่องจากขาดความหลากหลายด้านรูปทรง ทั้งยังมีต้นทุนการผลิตที่สูงขึ้นแต่กลับให้ผลตอบแทนที่ต่ำ จากปัญหาดังกล่าวเป็นโอกาสในการพัฒนารูปทรงของผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องปั้นดินเผาอีสาน เพื่อค้นหาแนวทางพัฒนารูปทรงเครื่องปั้นดินเผาอีสานด้วยกระบวนการออกแบบ และเพื่อสร้างแนวทางการเพิ่มมูลค่าให้กับเครื่องปั้นดินเผาอีสาน โดยการศึกษา และประยุกต์ใช้รูปทรงเครื่องปั้นดินเผาอีสานในอดีต ซึ่งถือเป็นทุนทางวัฒนธรรม ให้สอดคล้องกับแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ (Creative Economy ) โดยใช้ต้นทุนทางวัฒนธรรมในการขับเคลื่อน เพื่อสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มทางเศรษฐกิจ อันนำไปสู่ความยั่งยืน (Sustainable) โดยผู้วิจัยได้สร้างกระบวนการออกแบบ จากการนำเอกลักษณ์ด้านรูปทรงของเครื่องปั้นดินเผาอีสานในอดีต ที่ถือเป็นทุนทางวัฒนธรรรม มาประยุกต์ใช้ร่วมกับแนวคิดการรื้อสร้าง (Deconstruction) ที่เป็นแนวทางการพัฒนาสิ่งใหม่บนรากฐานของสิ่งเดิม เชื่อมโยงถึงการพัฒนารูปทรงเครื่องปั้นดินเผาให้มีความร่วมสมัย โดยการสร้างกระบวนการออกแบบเพื่อถ่ายทอดสู่ชุมชน ด้วยการสร้างคู่มือเพื่อการออกแบบรูปทรงเครื่องปั้นดินเผา โดยผลการใช้กระบวนการออกแบบผ่านการใช้คู่มือ ผู้ผลิตสามารถเข้าใจกระบวนการออกแบบ และสามารถออกแบบรูปทรงที่หลากหลายด้วยตนเอง และยังคงลักษณะของเครื่องปั้นดินเผาอีสาน แล้วนำแบบรูปทรงที่ได้ออกแบบไปผลิตจริงจากทักษะการผลิต และเทคโนโลยีที่มีอยู่เดิม มีผลการประเมินผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ได้จากการใช้คู่มือออกแบบรูปทรงจากกลุ่มผู้บริโภค ที่สามารถแสดงให้เห็นว่าผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่สร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มได้
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
Pottery making in Isaan community has been both profession and way of life since the ancient time. Most of them still employ traditional techniques, which can be considered as valuable local wisdom. Unfortunately, the popularity and needs for such pottery in daily life have decreased due to suitable variety. A high production costs but low profit also plays a critical role in its production decline. However, this situation also becomes an opportunity to develop the pottery forms by exploring and applying Isaan’s ancient pottery as cultural heritage through a design process. The research aims to develop pottery forms in order to add values and merit according to Creative Economy concepts and sustainable development. The researcher applies deconstruction idea to extract the distinguish components and rearrange them to create contemporary pottery forms. This development process is summed up in a design manual, which local potters can use it as a guideline to create their own design. The design manual is proofed to be user friendly, easy to comprehend and encouraging. Most of all, local potters initiate higher valued new pottery forms with their traditional process and maintain their local wisdom of Isaan’s ancient pottery.
