Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน ทั้งการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาความแตกต่างของปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล ปัจจัยด้านการรับรู้ข่าวสาร และปัจจัยด้านการรับรู้บทบาทที่มีผลต่อการรับรู้และทัศนคติของคนกรุงเทพมหานครต่อบทบาทขององค์การสหประชาชาติในประเทศไทย และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการรับรู้และทัศนคติของคนกรุงเทพมหานครต่อบทบาทขององค์การสหประชาชาติในประเทศไทย กลุ่มประชากรในการศึกษา คือ คนกรุงเทพมหานครที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 15 ปีขึ้นไป จำนวน 400 คน ใช้วิธีเก็บข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถามและการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลัก จำนวน 4 คน การวิเคราะห์ผลเชิงปริมาณใช้สถิติแบบพรรณา ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของตัวแปรด้วย Independent Samples t-test และ One-Way ANOVA/ F-test การวิเคราะห์การถดถอยพหุคูณแบบขั้นตอน (Multiple Linear Regression Analysis) และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาเชิงคุณภาพ ผลการศึกษาวิจัยพบว่า คนกรุงเทพมหานครมีการรับรู้บทบาทขององค์การสหประชาชาติในประเทศไทยในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยมีระดับการรับรู้บทบาทด้านการให้ความช่วยเหลือด้านมนุษยธรรมมากที่สุด (Mean =3.16, S.D.=0.81). มีทัศนคติต่อบทบาทขององค์การสหประชาชาติในประเทศไทยในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง โดยทัศนคติที่มีค่าสูงสุด คือ องค์การสหประชาชาติประจำประเทศไทยเป็นองค์การระหว่างประเทศที่มีความน่าเชื่อถือ(Mean=3.45, S.D.=1.00) และทัศนคติที่มีค่าต่ำสุด คือ บทบาทขององค์การสหประชาชาติประจำประเทศไทยในการพัฒนาและควบคุมอุตสาหกรรม (Mean=2.94 ,S.D.=1.07) ส่วนการเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างระหว่างปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล พบว่าระดับการศึกษา สถานที่กำลังศึกษาหรือจบหลักสูตร และอาชีพมีผลต่อการรับรู้และทัศนคติต่อบทบาทขององค์การสหประชาชาติในประเทศไทยแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ปัจจัยด้านการรับรู้ข่าวสารจากแหล่งข่าวสารที่แตกต่างกันมีอิทธิพลต่อการรับรู้และทัศนคติต่อบทบาทขององค์การสหประชาชาติในประเทศไทยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 และปัจจัยด้านการรับรู้บทบาทขององค์การสหประชาชาติในด้านการเผยแพร่การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนและด้านการผดุงกฏหมายระหว่างประเทศมีอิทธิพลส่งผลต่อการรับรู้และทัศนคติต่อบทบาทขององค์การสหประชาชาติในประเทศไทยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This study was mix-method research of both quantitative and qualitative methods. The objectives of this research were 1) to study between personal factors, news perception factors, and role perception factors which have an impact on the perception and attitude of Bangkok people towards the role of the United Nations in Thailand; and 2) to study the factors that influence the perception and attitude of Bangkok people towards the role of the United Nations in Thailand. The Population used in this study was 400 Bangkok residents aged 15 years old and above. The data was collected by a questionnaire and the in-depth interview with 4 key informants. As for the quantitative data analysis, statistical tools for descriptive statistical analysis were employed such as percentage, mean and standard deviation, comparative analysis with variables by Independent Samples t-test, One-Way ANOVA/ F-test and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The content analysis was also used for analyzing qualitative data. The study results revealed that Bangkok people had an overall high level of perception of the role of the United Nations in Thailand. The perception of the United Nations’ role in terms of delivering Humanitarian Aid is the highest among others (Mean=3.16, S.D.=0.81) while the attitude towards the overall role of the United Nations in Thailand was at a moderate level. The highest value of the attitude was the reliability of the organization (Mean=3.45, S.D.=1.00), and the lowest value was the United Nations’ role in the industrial development and control system (Mean=2.94, S.D.=1.07). Among the focused group, the comparison of differences between personal factors showed that levels of education, educational institutions, and occupations had an impact on the perception and attitude towards the role of the United Nations in Thailand with a statistically significant level of 0.05. Factor in the perception of news from various news sources has significantly influenced the perception and attitude towards the role of the United Nations in Thailand. In similar fashion, the recognition of the United Nations’ role in areas of promoting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and upholding International Law also had an influence on the perception and attitude towards the role of the United Nations in Thailand statistically with a significant level of 0.05.
