Abstract
การสั่นปอด เป็นเทคนิคหนึ่งที่ช่วยระบายเสมหะออกจากระบบเดินหายใจให้เเก่ผู้ป่วย สามารถทำได้โดยใช้มือเปล่าหรือใช้เครื่องสั่นปอดสร้างแรงสั่นผ่านผนังทรวงอกลงไปยังจุดที่เสมหะคั่งค้าง ซึ่งตลอดการสั่นปอดผู้ดำเนินการต้องสัมผัสใกล้ชิดผู้ป่วยในระยะเสี่ยงต่อการติดเชื้อ โดยเฉพาะในสถานการณ์การเเพร่ระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อไวรัส COVID-19 ที่มีเเนวโน้มรุนเเรงเเละควบคุมได้ยากยิ่งขึ้น จึงเป็นความเสี่ยงในการปฏิบัติงานของบุคลากรทางการเเพทย์ เครื่องสั่นปอด ChestViBe เป็นสิ่งประดิษฐ์ที่จะช่วยลดความเสี่ยงดังกล่าวได้ โดยจุดเด่นคือ เป็นเครื่องไร้สาย ควบคุมการทำงานผ่าน Smart phone ได้ในระยะที่ปลอดภัยจากการติดเชื้อ เเละเป็นเครื่องเเรกที่มีการศึกษาเเละพัฒนาขึ้นในประเทศไทย การศึกษานี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการนำเครื่องสั่นปอด ChestViBe ไปใช้ในเชิงพาณิชย์ โดยศึกษาเเละประเมินในด้านต่าง ๆ เพื่อสรุปความเป็นไปได้เเละเสนอเเนวทางการนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในเชิงพาณิชย์ โดยเป็นการศึกษาแบบผสมผสานทั้งเชิงคุณภาพ เเละเชิงปริมาณ โดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากแพทย์เวชศาสตร์ฟื้นฟู เเละนักเทคนิคการเเพทย์ ด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก เเละด้วยเเบบสอบถาม ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างกว่า 99% สนใจจะใช้เครื่องสั่นปอด ChestViBe โดยเห็นว่าเครื่องจะช่วยลดภาระ อำนวยความสะดวก รวมถึงจะช่วยลดความเสี่ยง ความกังวล และโอกาสที่บุคลากรทางการแพทย์จะได้รับเชื้อโรคจากการดูแลผู้ป่วยได้ ประกอบกับผลการประเมินด้านเทคโนโลยีเเละด้านการตลาดที่เเสดงให้เห็นถึงความพร้อม จุดเด่นเเละปัจจัยสนับสนุนในการนำออกสู่ตลาด จึงสรุปได้ว่า เครื่องสั่นปอด ChestViBe มีความเป็นไปได้ในการนำไปใช้ในเชิงพาณิชย์ โดยแนวทางการนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ที่เหมาะสม คือ การอนุญาตให้ใช้สิทธิ (Licensing) เนื่องจากใช้งบลงทุนน้อย ผลตอบแทนชัดเจน ความเสี่ยงในการทำธุรกิจต่ำ และผู้พัฒนายังคงเป็นเจ้าของสิทธิในเทคโนโลยี ซึ่งเป็นประโยชน์ในการต่อยอดในอนาคต ประมาณการ ค่าเปิดเผยเทคโนโลยี (Disclosure fee) เป็นเงิน 1,040,000 บาท และ ค่าตอบแทนการอนุญาตให้ใช้สิทธิ (Royalty fee) 4.8% จากยอดขาย/ปี

Chest vibration is a technique that helps the patient to drain mucus from the respiratory system. This can be done with bare hands or with a chest vibrator which both create a vibrating motion through the chest wall down to the point where the mucus is congested. Throughout the chest vibration process, the physician or therapist must have to be in close contact with the patient causing infection’s risk. Especially in the situation of a pandemic of COVID-19 which creates a higher risk in the performance of physicians or therapists. The ChestViBe chest vibrator is an invention that can reduce that risk. The wireless control via Smartphone within a safe distance from infection was highlighted, and the ChestViBe is the first wireless chest vibrator that has been studied and developed in Thailand. The objective of this study is to study the feasibility of chest vibrator “ChestViBe” for commercialization by studying and evaluating various areas to summarize the feasibility and propose guidelines for commercialization which is a combination of both qualitative and quantitative studies. The data was collected from rehabilitation physicians and therapists by in-depth interviewing and questionnaire. The results of the study shows that 99% of respondents are interested in ChestViBe and believe that ChestViBe would reduce the physician and therapist burden and also reduce the risks, concerns, and the likelihood of physicians and therapists infected with some disease from patient care. Together with technology and market assessments, the readiness, strengths and other factors reveals that it’s feasible to bring the ChestViBe to market. Licensing appears to be a suitable approach for commercialization because of low investment required, certain return, low risk, and technology’s ownership issue. The developers still own the rights of the technology which is useful in order to study and develop new features in the future. The disclosure fee and royalty fee are 1,040,000 baht and 4.8% from sales revenue each year, respectively.
