Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาเพื่อหาแนวทางเพื่อปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์ของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดยใช้ปัจจัยและตัวชี้วัดของแนวทางการพัฒนาสู่ความเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยสีเขียว มาเป็นเป้าหมายและแนวทางในการประเมินปัญหาและศักยภาพทางกายภาพ และการจัดการทางกายภาพมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อนำไปสู่การเสนอแนวทางในการปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นภายใต้ กรอบแนวคิดมหาวิทยาลัยสีเขียว ให้เกิดเป็นประโยชน์ทางด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและการใช้งาน ผลจากการศึกษา สามารถสรุปปัจจัยและตัวชี้วัดของแนวทางการพัฒนาสู่ความเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยสี เขียวได้ 5 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านพื้นที่สีเขียว ด้านการจัดการของเสีย ด้านการจัดการน้ำ ด้านการลดคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์จากการสัญจร และด้านพลังงาน ผลจากการเก็บข้อมูลสำรวจภาคสนาม เพื่อเก็บข้อมูลสภาพแวดล้อมทางกายภาพ พบว่าปัจจัยที่เป็นไปตามเป้าหมาย ได้แก่ ด้านพื้นที่สีเขียว และด้านการจัดการน้ำ ผลจากการเก็บข้อมูลการสัมภาษณ์ เพื่อเก็บข้อมูลในด้านการจัดการทางกายภาพ พบว่าปัจจัยที่เป็นไปตามเป้าหมาย ได้แก่ด้านพลังงาน และด้านการจัดการของเสีย ผลจากการเก็บข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถาม พบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความพอใจมากที่สุดในด้านพื้นที่สีเขียว ส่วนด้านการลดคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์จากการสัญจรได้รับความพอใจน้อยที่สุดและต้องการให้ปรับปรุงมากที่สุด โดยส่วนใหญ่มีความเห็นด้วยกับแนวทางการปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์ภายใต้แนวความคิด มหาวิทยาลัยสีเขียว จากการวิเคราะห์ พบว่าภาพรวมของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นยังไม่มีปัจจัยด้านใดเป็นไปตามเป้าหมายของมหาวิทยาลัยสีเขียวได้ครบทุกข้อ โดยด้านที่มีปัญหามากที่สุด ควรแก่การปรับปรุงเป็นอันดับแรก ได้แก่ ด้านการลดคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์จากการสัญจร จึงเสนอแนวทางเพื่อลดปริมาณการใช้รถยนต์และจักรยานยนต์โดยสนับสนุนการการเดินและใช้จักรยาน ทำทางเดินที่มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกให้ครอบคลุมมากขึ้น จัดพื้นที่จอดรถที่เหมาะสมและเชื่อมโยงระบบขนส่งมวลชน

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This thesis is a study of ways to improve the landscape of Khon Kaen University by using the factors and indicators of green campus development as goals and guidelines to evaluate problems. The conclusion of the study offers recommendations for landscape improvement and management. Five factors and indicators of the green university development were summarized from the document as follows: 1) green area, 2) waste management, 3) water management, 4) carbon dioxide reduction in transport system, and 5) energy. From the field survey, the factors that reached their targets were the green area and water management factors. The interview indicated that the factor that reached its target were energy and waste management. The questionnaires about satisfaction of the current university environment taken by the locals found that green area factor was most satisfied and the carbon dioxide reduction factor was less satisfied. The carbon dioxide reduction from transportation was the major concern, although reduction of parking areas around educational zones was opposed. The analysis showed that none of the indicators had reached the goal of green campus. The most important problem that should get priority attention was carbon dioxide reduction. So, this study proposed to reduce cars and motorcycles usage by providing a vehicle-free zone, and to encourage walking and bicycling to reduce carbon dioxide production, increase aisles with facilities, provide parking area, link mass transportation system.
