Abstract
ซีดับเบิลยูเอ็มเป็นรูปแบบมาตรฐานของโครงสร้างคลังข้อมูลในรูปของเอกสารเอ็กซ์เอ็มแอลซึ่งมีประโยชน์ทำให้การแลกเปลี่ยนโครงสร้างคลังข้อมูลในระหว่างสภาพแวดล้อมของการทำงานต่างๆ เป็นไปอย่างสะดวกและเป็นมาตรฐานเดียวกัน ในปัจจุบันระบบจัดการฐานข้อมูลต่างๆ เริ่มสนับสนุนการแปลงเค้าร่างฐานข้อมูลให้อยู่ในรูปแบบซีดับเบิลยูเอ็มกันบ้างแล้ว แต่ยังไม่มีเครื่องมือที่ช่วยในการออกแบบฐานข้อมูลและสร้างเค้าร่างจากเมตาดาตาซีดับเบิลยูเอ็มอย่างครบวงจร งานวิจัยนี้ได้ทำการออกแบบและพัฒนาเครื่องมือสร้างเค้าร่างฐานข้อมูลในรูปแบบเมตาดาตาซีดับเบิลยูเอ็ม จากแบบจำลองข้อมูลทางกายภาพที่อยู่ในรูปของแผนภาพอีอาร์ โดยเครื่องมือจะสนับสนุนการสร้างแผนภาพอีอาร์และการสร้างเค้าร่างฐานข้อมูลในระบบจัดการฐานข้อมูลจากเมตาดาตาซีดับเบิลยูเอ็ม นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถแปลงเค้าร่างฐานข้อมูลในระบบจัดการฐานข้อมูลกลับไปอยู่ในรูปแบบเมตาดาตาซีดับเบิลยูเอ็มเพื่อสร้างแผนภาพอีอาร์ รวมทั้งยังสามารถพิมพ์แผนภาพออกทางเครื่องพิมพ์และจัดให้อยู่ในรูปแบบเอกสารแบบเอชทีเอ็มแอลได้
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
CWM is a standard XML format for describing data warehouse structures. It allows the structures to be exchanged in different working environments in a unified and convenient way. At present, database management systems begin to export database schemas to CWM metadata but still there is no CWM tool that helps with the design of daabases and creation of database schemas. This research designs develops a tool to create CWM database schemas from physical data models in ER diagrams. The tool supports creation of ER diagrams and creation of database schemas for database management systems from CWM metadata. It can also reversely transform schemas from database management systems into CWM and ER diagrams. The diagrams can be printed out and formatted into HTML documents.
