Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ มุ่งศึกษาลิลิตพระลอทางด้านภาษาอย่างลึกซึ้ง ผู้วิจัยได้แบ่งวิเคราะห์ลิลิตพระลอเป็นตอนๆ คือ บทที่ 1 พิจารณาจากหลักฐานทางภาษา วัฒนธรรมและเหตุการณ์ทางประวัติศาสตร์ เพื่อสันนิษฐานเกี่ยวกับผู้แต่ง สมัยที่แต่งและสถานที่ที่ปรากฏในลิลิตพระลอ บทที่ 2 มุ่งศึกษาเรื่องเทคนิคการใช้คำในลิลิตพระลอ โดยพิจารณาการตัดคำ คำซ้ำ การแผลงคำเพื่อการประพันธ์ สัมผัสพิเศษ ซึ่งช่วยให้บทประพันธ์มีความไพเราะยิ่งขึ้น บทที่ 3 กล่าวถึงสำนวนโวหารและภาษิตในลิลิตพระลอ โดยเฉพาะโวหารที่มีความไพเราะซึ่งจะช่วยให้ผู้อ่านได้ซาบซึ้งและเข้าใจความหมายได้ดียิ่งขึ้น ตลอดจนกล่าวถึงบทอุปมาในลิลิตพระลอ ซึ่งชักนำให้ผู้อ่านสามารถเข้าใจได้เป็นอย่างดี ในตอนท้ายของบทเป็นการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับภาษิตที่ปะปนอยู่ในวรรณคดีเรื่องนี้ บทที่ 4 เป็นการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับภาษาถิ่นซึ่งพบในลิลิตพระลอมีทั้งภาษาถิ่นเหนือ ถิ่นใต้และถิ่นอีสาน และได้ทำการเปรียบเทียบภาษาถิ่นมีใช้ตรงกันในบางถิ่นอีกด้วย บทที่ 5 ศึกษาเกี่ยวกับภาพพจน์และจินตนาการซึ่งสามารถทำให้เห็นภาพและเข้าใจได้ลึกซึ้ง ผู้วิจัยได้ยกตัวอย่างและสรุปเกี่ยวกับภาพพจน์และจินตนาการ บทที่ 6 เป็นบทสรุปและเสนอแนะข้อคิดเห็นบางประการ ซึ่งสมควรจะได้มีการศึกษาเพิ่มเติมในเรื่องไสยศาสตร์ และประเพณีการแกะมวยผมออกเช็ดเท้า

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The main purpose of this thesis was to study the language of Lilit Phra Low with following steps. Chapter 1 consider from the language background culture and historical events in order to surmise about the author, the time and the places mentioned in the book. Chapter 2 concentrate on the technique of using words, for instance, there were the omittion, the repetition, the adaptation and the extra rhymes. Chapter 3 mention about the idioms, the motto, and the comparison which made the readers appreciate and understand the meaning better. Chapter 4 compare some dialects such as northern dialect, southern dialect and north - eastern dialect. Chapter 5 study about the Figure of speech and the Imagination. Chapter 6 give the conclusion and some suggestions on the study of black magic and the tradition of letting down the bun of hair to clean off the feet.
