Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อความสัมพันธ์พหุคูณระหว่างเกณฑ์ ได้แก่คะแนนสัมฤทธิผลในหมวดวิชา วิทยาศาสตร์ คณิตศาสตร์ ภาอังกฤษ และภาษาไทย โดยใช้คะแนนจากแบบสอบความถนัดร่วมกับแบบสอบความสนใจเป็นตัวทำนาย กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ปีการศึกษา 2518 ในกรุงเทพฯ จำนวน 442 คน แบบสอบความถนัดที่นำไปสอบกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างมี 4 ฉบับคือ แบบสอบความเข้าใจภาษาไทย แบบสอบความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษ แบบสอบความสามารถด้านจักรกล แบบสอบความสามารถทางคำนวณ ส่วนแบบตรวจสอบความสนใจในอาชีพมีอยู่ 10 ด้าน นำมาใช้เพียง 4 ด้าน คือ ความสนใจด้านจักรกล ความสนใจด้านคำนวณ ความสนใจด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ และความสนใจด้านวรรณกรรม คะแนนสัมฤทธิผลที่นำมาใช้เป็นตัวเกณฑ์ คือคะแนนสอบกลางปีจาก 4 หมวดวิชา คือ วิทยาศาสตร์ คณิตศาสตร์ ภาษาอังกฤษ และภาษาไทย ใช้คะแนนจากแบบสอบความถนัดแต่ละฉบับร่วมกับแบบสอบความสนใจแต่ละด้านเป็นตัวทำนาย ใช้สัมฤทธิผลในแต่ละหมวดวิชาเป็นตัวเกณฑ์ วิเคราะห์หาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ความตรงในการพยากรณ์ โดยใช้เทคนิคสหสัมพันธ์พหุคูณ ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า ตัวทำนายที่ใช้ร่วมกันในการทำนายสัมฤทธิผลในแต่ละหมวดวิชา ที่มีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดเป็นดังนี้คือ 1.เมื่อใช้สัมฤทธิผลวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์เป็นตัวเกณฑ์ ตัวทำนายที่ดีได้แก่ คะแนนจากแบบสอบความถนัดภาษาอังกฤษ ความสามารถทางคำนวณ และคะแนนจากแบบสอบความสนใจด้านจักรกล วิทยาศาสตร์ 2.เมื่อใช้สัมฤทธิผลวิชาคณิตศาสตร์เป็นตัวเกณฑ์ ตัวทำนายที่ดีได้แก่ คะแนนจากแบบสอบความถนัดภาษาอังกฤษ ความสามารถทางคำนวณ และคะแนนจากแบบสอบความสนใจด้านจักรกล คำนวณ วิทยาศาสตร์ 3.เมื่อใช้สัมฤทธิผลวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเป็นตัวเกณฑ์ ตัวทำนายที่ดีไดแก่ คะแนนจากแบบสอบความถนัดภาษาอังกฤษ และคะแนนจากแบบสอบความสนใจด้านจักรกล วิทยาศาสตร์ 4.เมื่อใช้สัมฤทธิผลวิชาภาษาไทยเป็นตัวเกณฑ์ ตัวทำนายที่ดีได้แก่ คะแนนจากแบบสอบความถนัดด้านจักรกล คำนวณ และคะแนนจากแบบสอนความสนใจด้านคำนวณ

The purpose of this study was to find the multiple regression equations in predicting achievement in four subjects which included Science, Mathematics, English, Thai by using four aptitude tests, four occupational interests combined as predictors. The sample of the study was 442 students of Mathayomsuksa III from six schools in Bangkok. The aptitude tests used are Mathematics Ability, Mechanical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension (English), Reading Comprehension (Thai). The occupational interests used are Mechanical, Computational, Scientific, Literary. The achievements used as criteria were from mid-year examination. The multiple correlation technique was applied to determine the effectiveness of predictors. The major findings of this study are as follows: 1.For achievement in Science, the best combined predictor are two aptitude tests scores: Reading Comprehension (English) and Mathematics Ability combination with two occupational interests: Mechanical and Scientific. 2.For achievement in Mathematics, the best combined predictor are two aptitude tests scores: Reading Comprehension (English) and Mathematics Ability combination with three occupational interests: Mechanical, Computational and Scientific. 3.For achievement in English, the best combined predictor are one aptitude test score: Reading Comprehension (English) combination with two occupational interests: Mechanical and Scientific. 4.For achievement in Thai, the best combined predictor are two aptitude tests scores: Mechanical Reasoning and Mathematics Ability combination with one occupational interest : Computational.
