Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความเข้าใจการใช้เครื่องหมายวรรคตอน ตัวนำอนุประโยค และปริบท กับความสามารถในการอ่านเอาความผู้วิจัยได้สร้างแบบสอบ 2 ฉบับ ฉบับที่ 1 ประกอบด้วยแบบสอบวัดความเข้าใจการใช้เครื่องหมายวรรคตอน ตัวนำอนุประโยค และปริบท ฉบับที่ 2 เป็นแบบสอบวัดความสามารถในการอ่านเอาความ แบบสอบทั้ง 2 ฉบับนี้ได้รับการตรวจสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 10 ท่าน และการวิเคราะห์เพื่อหาค่าความเที่ยง ประชากรที่ใช้ในการทดสอบเป็นนักศึกษาวิชาเอกภาษาอังกฤษ ระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาการศึกษาชั้นสูงในวิทยาลัยครูส่วนกลาง 5 แห่ง จำนวน 179 คน นำผลที่ได้จากการทดสอบมาวิเคราะห์หาค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์พหุคูณ และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์การทำนาย ผลของการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. คะแนนเฉลี่ยของนักศึกษาจากการทำแบบสอบทั้ง 2 ฉบับ ซึ่งฉบับแรกประกอบด้วยแบบสอบความเข้าใจการใช้เครื่องหมายวรรคตอน ตัวนำอนุประโยค ปริบท คิดเป็นร้อยละ 42.61, 48.85, และ 51.98 ตามลำดับ และจากการทำแบบสอบฉบับที่ 2 คือแบบสอบความสามารถในการอ่านเอาความ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 43.34 2 . ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของคะแนนความเข้าใจการใช้เครื่องหมายวรรคตอน ตัวนำอนุประโยค และปริบท กับความสามารถในการอ่านเอาความ มีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .001 3. ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์พหุคูณของคะแนนความเข้าใจการใช้เครื่องหมายวรรคตอนตอน ตัวนำอนุประโยคและ ปริบทร่วมกัน กับคะแนนความสามารถในการอ่านเอาความ มีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .001 4. คะแนนความเข้าใจการใช้ตัวนำอนุประโยคสามารถทำนายผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการอ่านเอาความได้

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between understanding punctuation, clause markers and context clues and reading comprehension. Two tests were constructed in an 'attempt to measure the understanding of punctuation, clause markers and context clues, and to measure reading comprehension ability. These tests were investigated on their content validity by ten experts. The reliability of the tests was also calculated. The subjects of this study were 179 English major students who were working for the Higher Certificate of Education in five teachers colleges. The data were computed to determine the mean, standard diviation, simple correlation coefficient and multiple correlation. The results of the study were: 1. The percentage of the students' mean scores of the understanding of punctuation, clause markers, and context clues were 42,61, 48.85, and 51.98 respectively, and that of the reading compre¬hension test was 43,34. 2. The simple correlation between punctuation, clause markers, and context clues and reading comprehension was significant at the .001 level. 3. The multiple correlation between punctuation, clause markers, and context clues and reading comprehension was significant at the 01 level. 4. Context clues and clause markers could predict reading achievement.
