Abstract
From the leaves extract of Aglaia pirifera Hance, a new alkaloid with bis-amide of 2-aminopyrrolidine nucleus named piriferine was found. The chemical and physical properties of this compound were studied.

จากสิ่งสกัดจากใบของต้นค้างคาว (Aglaia pirifera Hance) ได้พบอัลคาลอยด์ชนิดใหม่ซึ่งมีโครงสร้างเป็น bis-amide ของ 2-aminopyrrolidine ให้ชื่อว่า piriferine และได้ศึกษาคุณสมบัติทางเคมีและกายภาพของสารนี้ด้วย
