Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความสนใจเกี่ยวกับปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมและประเภทปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่สนใจมากที่สุดของประชากรไทย ตลอดจนศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยภูมิหลังทางประชากร เศรษฐกิจสังคม กับระดับและประเภทของความสนใจเกี่ยวกับปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยใช้ข้อมูลจากการสำรวจสถิติสังคม การสำรวจทัศนคติของประชากรทางสังคม พ.ค. 2536 ชงดำเนินงานโดย สำนกงานแห่งชาติ สำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี มีครัวเรือนที่สัมภาษณ์ได้ทั้งสิ้น 22,399 ครัวเรือน ผลการศึกษาจากการวิเคราะห์ด้วยตารางไขว้ พบว่า ปัจจัยภูมิหลังที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับระดับความสนใจเกี่ยวกับปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมของประชากรไทยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ ≤0.05 เมื่อทดสอบด้วยค่า Tau – C ได้แก่ เพศ อายุ สถานภาพสมรส การศึกษา อาชีพ รายได้ของครัวเรือน เขตที่อยู่อาศัย ภาคที่อยู่อาศัยและการได้รับผลกระทบจากภาวะมลพิษของครัวเรือน และเมื่อนำตัวแปรอิสระแต่ละตัวมาพิจารณาร่วมกับตัวแปรอื่น ๆ บางตัว ยังคงพบว่า เพศ อายุ สถานภาพสมรส การศึกษา อาชีพ รายได้ของครัวเรือน เขตที่อยู่อาศัยภาคที่อยู่อาศัย และการได้รับผลกระทบจากภาวะมลพิษของครัวเรือน ยังคงมีความสัมพันธ์กับระดับความสนใจเกี่ยวกับปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมเช่นเดิม สำหรับปัจจัยภูมิหลังที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับประเภทปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่สนใจมากที่สุดของประชาชกรไทย พบว่าปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับประเภทปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่สนใจมากที่สุด อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ ≤ 0.05 ได้แก่ เพศ อายุ สถานภาพสมรส การศึกษา อาชีพ รายได้ของครัวเรือน เขตที่อยู่อาศัย และภาคที่อยู่อาศัย อย่างไรก็ดีเมื่อนำตัวแปรอิสระแต่ละตัวมาควบคุมด้วยแปรคุม พบว่า ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อประเภทปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่สนใจมากที่สุดอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ได้แก่ การศึกษา อาชีพ รายได้ของครัวเรือน เขตที่อยู่อาศัย และภาคที่อยู่อาศัย

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the level and type of interest in environmental problems and the relationships between these factors and the background characteristics of Thai population. The data used are from the project entitled “Report the social attitude of population survey 1993 " which was conducted by the National Statistical Office. The sample includes 22,899 households. Results from bivariate analysis indicated sex, age, marital status, education, occupation, incomes of household, area of residence, region and experience with pollution problems have statistically significant association with the level of interest in environmental problems. When Controlling for some background variables, the results also revealed that sex, age, marital status, education, occupation, incomes of household, area of residence, region and experience with pollution problems still have strong relationship with the level of interest in environmental problems. Results of the study also indicated that factors which are significantly related to the type of interest in environmental problems among are sex, age, marital status, education, occupation, incomes of household, area of residence and region. However, when controlling for some background variables, the results showed that only education, occupation, incomes of household, area of residence and region have statistically significant on the type of interest in environmental problems.
