Abstract
การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานดุริยางคศิลป์ ชุด สัตว์หิมพานต์ เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์ผสมกับการใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพในดำเนินการวิจัย มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคติความเชื่อในเรื่องสัตว์หิมพานต์ นำไปสู่การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานดุริยางคศิลป์ และจัดแสดงผลงานต่อสาธารณชน เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์จากบุคคลข้อมูล 3 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิด้านศิลปกรรมไทย ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิด้านศาสนาปรัชญาและความเชื่อ และผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิทางดุริยางคศิลป์ไทย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สัตว์หิมพานต์เกี่ยวข้องกับวัฒนธรรมไทยมายาวนาน แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ประเภท ได้แก่ สัตว์จตุบาท สัตว์ทวิบาทและมัจฉา ในสังคมไทยมีคติความเชื่อว่าสัตว์หิมพานต์เป็นสัตว์มงคล เป็นสัตว์วิเศษที่มีความสวยงาม มีคติเกี่ยวข้องกับศาสนาพุทธ และศาสนาพราหมณ์-ฮินดู ผลงานดุริยางคศิลป์ ชุด สัตว์หิมพานต์ ประกอบไปด้วย 10 บทเพลง ได้แก่เพลงพญาโคนิสภราช เพลงพญาพลาหก เพลงพญาฉัททันต์ เพลงพญาไกรสรสีหราช เพลงพญาหงส์ทอง เพลงพญากินนรแห่งสุวัณณนคร เพลงพญาครุฑ เพลงปลาอานนท์ เพลงพญานาคราช สุนันทนาคราชและปนันทนาคราช มีเพลงสำหรับเชื่อมต่อเพื่อความเป็นเอกภาพคือเพลงวิพิธหิมพานต์ บทเพลงทั้ง 10 เพลงประพันธ์ขึ้นใหม่ทั้งหมดโดยนำข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับสัตว์หิมพานต์มาวิเคราะห์ ตีความทางสัญวิทยาโดยนำเอาลักษณะของสัตว์ต่าง ๆ มาสื่อด้วยองค์ประกอบทางดุริยางคศิลป์ ผสานกับความคิดสร้างสรรค์ จินตนาการ และแรงบันดาลใจของผู้วิจัยในรูปแบบดนตรีพรรณนา มีการสร้างสรรค์รูปแบบการประสมวงดนตรี และรูปแบบจังหวะหน้าทับขึ้นใหม่เพื่อแสดงจินตภาพของสัตว์หิมพานต์แต่ละชนิด เพื่อเติมเต็มจินตภาพของสัตว์หิมพานต์ให้สมบูรณ์

The Music Composition: The Himmapan Creatures is a creative research blended with qualitative research. It aims to study the beliefs in the Himmapan creatures and it leads to the creation of music work and the performance to the public. The study is conducted by interviewing three groups of persons which are the experts in Thai arts; the experts in religions, philosophy, and beliefs; and the experts in Thai music. It is found that the Himmapan creatures can be divided into three categories which are terrestrial animal, poultry, and aquatic animal. In Thai society, the Himmapan creatures are believed to be auspicious, magical, and elegant creatures, and they are also concerned with the beliefs in Buddhism, Vedism, and Hinduism. The Music Composition consists of 10 songs which are Nisaparaj (Ox), Palahok (Horse), Chattan (Elephant), Kraisorn Rajasiha (Lion), Hong Thong (Swan), Kinnara of Suwannanakorn, Garuda, Anon Fish, Sunanta Nagaraja and Bhananta Nagaraja (Naga). The song used to connect and make a unity is called Wipitta Himmapan. All the ten songs are newly composed with the data concerning the Himmapan creatures. The data was analyzed and semiologically interpreted. Each Himmapan creature's prominent features are presented through the elements of music including the author's inspiration, and the song was expressed in a form of the programmed music. The ensemble and the rhythmic patterns are newly formed in order to portray the imagination and make each Himmapan creature complete through the fantasy.
