Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาศักยภาพการจัดการประชุมและนิทรรศการจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบความคิดเห็นระดับตำแหน่งงานในปัจจุบันต่อศักยภาพผู้ประกอบการทั้ง 9 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านธุรกิจการจัดการประชุมและนิทรรศการ (Organizer) ด้านระบบลอจิสติกส์ (Logistics) ด้านสาธารณูปโภค (Public Utility) ด้านที่พักและโรงแรม (Accommodation) ด้านการรักษาความปลอดภัย (Security) ด้านร้านอาหาร ภัตตาคาร (Restaurant) ด้านธุรกิจนำเที่ยว (Tour Agency) ด้านนันทนาการและความบันเทิง (Recreation and Entertainment) ด้านร้านค้าของที่ระลึก (Souvenir) กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ประกอบการที่เกี่ยวข้อง คิดรวมทั้งสิ้น 432 คน และได้รับแบบสอบถามคืนจำนวน 402 ชุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 93.05 ผู้วิจัยนำข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์หาค่าทางสถิติ เพื่อหาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ ค่า “เอฟ" (F-test) ที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ .05 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง มีอายุระหว่าง 26-30 ปี มีอายุการทำงานระหว่าง 12 ปีขึ้นไป ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามส่วนใหญ่มีตำแหน่งในปัจจุบัน คือ หัวหน้างาน มีสาขาอาชีพในปัจจุบันด้านที่พักและโรงแรม (Accommodation) และระดับการศึกษาสูงสุดคือ ปริญญาตรีหรือเทียบเท่า การจัดการประชุมและนิทรรศการของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ มีระดับศักยภาพของผู้ประกอบทั้ง 9 ด้าน อยู่ในระดับมากเป็นส่วนใหญ่ และเมื่อพิจารณาความแตกต่างของความคิดเห็นระหว่างตำแหน่งงานในปัจจุบัน ได้แก่ ผู้บริหาร, หัวหน้างาน, ผู้ประกอบการ/เจ้าของกิจการ, กรรมการผู้จัดการ และผู้จัดการ ต่อศักยภาพผู้ประกอบการทั้ง 9 ด้าน ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ .05 พบว่า มีความคิดเห็นไม่แตกต่างกัน ในทุกด้าน ยกเว้นด้านสาธารณูปโภค (Public Utility) พบว่า ตำแหน่งระดับผู้บริหารกับผู้ประกอบการ/เจ้าของกิจการ และตำแหน่งระดับผู้บริหารกับกรรมการผู้จัดการ มีความคิดเห็นแตกต่างกันในประเด็นสถานที่การจัดการประชุมและนิทรรศการมีระบบไฟฟ้า ระบบประปา ระบบโทรศัพท์ และระบบ อินเทอร์เนต รองรับอย่างเพียงพอในการจัดการประชุมและนิทรรศการ และด้านที่พักและโรงแรม (Accommodation) พบว่า ตำแหน่งระดับผู้บริหารกับหัวหน้างาน มีความคิดเห็นแตกต่างกันในประเด็นความสะดวกในการติดต่อจองที่พักและโรงแรม และผลการศึกษาส่วนใหญ่แสดงให้เห็นว่าจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ มีศักยภาพระดับมากในการรองรับการจัดการประชุมและนิทรรศการ

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purposes of this research were to study the potentiality of conference and exhibition management in Chiangmai and to compare attitudes towards the present positions of the entrepreneurs’ potentiality on 9 aspects which consisted of organizer management, logistics, public unity, accommodation, security, restaurant, tour agency, recreation and entertainment, as well as souvenir. The samples of related entrepreneur consisted of 432 persons, 402 copies of questionnaire returned and made 93.05%. The researcher analyzed data statistically by means of percentage, mean, S.D., and F-test with statistically significant at .05 level. The research results showed that the majority of received questionnaire was from female at the age of 26-30 and over 12 years of working experience. Most of the questionnaire answers were of present titles of department heads. Their present job counted on accommodation providers. Their latest educational background was either bachelor degree level or equivalent. The conference and exhibition management in Chiangmai showed the 9 levels of entrepreneurs at high level. Considering the difference of attitudes perceived by administrators, department heads, entrepreneurs/owners, general managers and managers towards 9 aspects, at .05 of significance, it showed the same attitudes except on public unity. The administrators and entrepreneurs/owners, and administrators and general managers compared showed different attitude toward conference venue. The management and exhibition showed adequate electricity, water supply, telephones and internets systems. On accommodation aspect, it was founded that the attitudes of administrators and department heads were different especially on booking. It finally turned out that Chiangmai had potentiality to manage conferences and exhibitions.
