Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการใช้พจนานุกรมไทยของนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาด้วยเทคนิคการช่วยจำและการค้นหาความหมายของคำ และเพื่อพัฒนาโปรแกรมที่จะนำไปสอนพัฒนาทักษะการใช้พจนานุกรมไทยของนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา กลุ่มตัวอย่างประกอบด้วยนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ปีการศึกษา 2537 จำนวน 60 คน สุ่มจากโรงเรียนวัดนิมมานรดี อำเภอภาษีเจริญ จังหวัดกรุงเทพมหานคร สุ่มนักเรียนแบ่งออกเป็น 3 กลุ่ม ๆ ละ 20 คน นักเรียนชายและหญิงมีจำนวนเท่ากัน แบ่งเป็น 3 กลุ่ม ดังนี้ 1) กลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้จำพยัญชนะและสระตามระบบพจนานุกรมไทย 2) กลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้เปิดพจนานุกรมไทยค้นหาความหมายของคำเพียงอย่างเดียว และ 3) กลุ่มควบคุม ทุกกลุ่มฝึกทักษะสัปดาห์ละ 1 ครั้ง ๆ ละ 1 ชั่วโมง จำนวน 4 สัปดาห์ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยแบบทดสอบวัดทักษะในการใช้พจนานุกรมไทย ก่อนและหลังการทดลอง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลของคะแนนทักษะในการใช้พจนานุกรมไทย ด้วยการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One-Way Analysis of Variance) ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1) กลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้จำพยัญชนะและสระตามระบบพจนานุกรมไทย มีคะแนนทักษะในการใช้พจนานุกรมไทยสูงกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้เปิดพจนานุกรมไทยค้นหาความหมายของคำเพียงอย่างเดียว 2) กลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้จำพยัญชนะและสระตามระบบพจนานุกรมไทย และกลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้เปิดพจนานุกรมไทยค้นหาความหมายของคำเพียงอย่างเดียว มีคะแนนทักษะในการใช้พจนานุกรมไทยสูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุม 3) กลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้จำพยัญชนะและสระตามระบบพจนานุกรมไทย มีคะแนนความสามารถในการใช้พจนานุกรมไทยช่วยในการสะกดคำและการอ่านคำได้ถูกต้องและรวดเร็ว สูงกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้เปิดพจนานุกรมไทยค้นหาความหมายของคำเพียงอย่างเดียว 4) กลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้จำพยัญชนะและสระตามระบบพจนานุกรมไทย มีคะแนนความสามารถในการเรียงลำดับคำและการค้นหาความหมายของคำได้ถูกต้องและรวดเร็ว สูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุม และไม่แตกต่างกันกับกลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้เปิดพจนานุกรมไทยค้นหาความหมายของคำเพียงอย่างเดียว 5) กลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้จำพยัญชนะและสระตามระบบพจนานุกรมไทย และกลุ่มที่ได้รับการฝึกให้เปิดพจนานุกรมไทยค้นหาความหมายของคำเพียงอย่างเดียว มีคะแนนทักษะในการใช้พจนานุกรมไทยสูงกว่าก่อนได้รับการทดลอง ฉะนั้น จากผลการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ สรุปได้ว่าโปรแกรมการสอนพัฒนาทักษะในการใช้พจนานุกรมไทยของนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาที่ดีที่สุด คือ โปรแกรมการสอนฝึกให้จำพยัญชนะและสระตามระบบพจนานุกรมไทย

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This purpose of this research were to improve skills in using Thai dictionary of students in the elementary level by mnemonic method and searching word-meaning method and to develop program to improve skill in using Thai dictionary of students in the elementary level. The subjects consisted of 60 students in Prathomsuksa 6, acad[e]mic year 1994, randomly drawn from Wat Nimmanoradee Amphur Paseecharoen, Bangkok Metropolis. They were randomly divided into 3 groups, each consisting of 10 male and 10 female students: (1) the group trained to remember consonants and vowels in Thai dictionary system; (2) the group trained to search the words in Thai dictionary only; and (3) the control group. The subjects in each group were trained for 4 weeks. The data were collected before and after the treatment. All subjects were tested by the test of ability in using Thai dictionary. The data were analyzed by using One-Way Analysis of Variance. The research findings could be summarized as follows: 1. The group trained to remember consonants and vowels in Thai dictionary system got higher scores than the group trained to search the words in Thai dictionary only. 2. The group trained to remember consonants and vowels in Thai dictionary system and the group trained to search the words in Thai dictionary only got higher scores than the control group. 3. The group trained to remember consonants and vowels in Thai dictionary system got higher scores in the ability of spelling words and reading words correctly and faster than the group trained to search the words in Thai dictionary only and the control group. 4. The group trained to remember consonants and vowels in Thai dictionary system got higher scores in the ability of ordering words and searching words correctly and faster than the control group. There was no different ability between the formal group and the latter group. 5. The group trained to remember consonants and vowels in Thai dictionary system and the group trained to search the words in Thai dictionary only got higher scores in post-test than per-test. According to this research findings, the best program of teaching to improve skills in using Thai dictionary of students in the elementary level is the program of the training to remember consonants and vowels in Thai dictionary system.
