Abstract

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า หลักสูตรวิชาคอมพิวเตอร์ที่เปิดสอนในระดับปริญญาตรีมี 4 หลักสูตร และมีหลักสูตรระยะสั้น 8 โครงการ หลักสูตรปริญญาตรีทั้ง 4 หลักสูตรนั้น เป็นหลักสูตรที่เหมาะสมอยู่แล้วแต่ต้องปรับปรุงอยู่ตลอดเวลาเพื่อตามให้ทันกับเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ใหม่ ๆ การปรับปรุงนั้น ปรับปรุงด้านเนื้อหาวิชาให้เหมาะสมกับสภาพสังคมปัจจุบัน และสอดคล้องกับความก้าวหน้าทางวิชาการต่าง ๆ ส่วนการปรับปรุงการเพิ่ม-ลดรายวิชานั้น เพื่อให้มีความเหมาะสม และเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้เรียน ส่วนหลักสูตรระยะสั้นที่เปิดสอนอยู่เหมาะสมดีอยู่แล้ว ถึงแม้จะมีความซ้ำซ้อนกันในรายวิชาที่เปิดสอน แต่ก็ไม่เป็นปัญหาอย่างใด ทั้งนี้เพราะความต้องการของผู้เรียนยังมีอีกมาก ทางด้านสภาพการจัดการเรียนการสอน ควรปรับปรุงด้านอาจารย์ อุปกรณ์การเรียนการสอน ตำรา และสถานที่เรียน ให้อาจารย์มีวุฒิทางด้านคอมพิวเตอร์เพิ่มมากขึ้นหรืออาจเพิ่มพูนความรู้ให้กับอาจารย์ที่มีอยู่แล้ว อุปกรณ์การเรียนการสอนให้มีจำนวนที่เพียงพอ สถานที่เรียนควรจัดให้ห้องเรียน และห้องปฏิบัติการแยกจากกัน และควรจัดให้มีอุปกรณ์หลาย ๆ ด้านในห้องปฏิบัติการ ซึ่งห้องปฏิบัติการควรจัดเพิ่มขึ้นจากที่มีอยู่ เพราะจะเป็นส่วนที่จะทำให้นิสิตได้มีโอกาสฝึกใช้ และศึกษาทดลองแต่เท่าที่มีอยู่ ปรากฏว่าสภาพการจัดการเรียนการสอน ส่วนใหญ่เหมาะสมพอสมควร เพียงแต่ยังขาดอาจารย์ที่มีวุฒิทางคอมพิวเตอร์ ขาดอุปกรณ์การเรียนการสอน สถานที่ฝึกปฏิบัติ ตำราที่ทันสมัย ด้านนิสิตผู้เข้าอบรมที่สำเร็จการศึกษา จะมีความรู้ ความสามารถในการปฏิบัติงานได้ และสามารถศึกษาต่อได้ในระดับสูง จึงกล่าวได้ว่าหลักสูตรวิชาคอมพิวเตอร์ที่เปิดสอนอยู่ในจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยขณะนี้ส่วนใหญ่เหมาะสมดีอยู่แล้ว และสภาพการจัดการเรียนการสอนที่เป็นอยู่มีผลดีพอสมควร ในระดับปานกลาง

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This research studies curriculum and teaching situation in computer subjets at Chulalongkorn University. It was found there are four undergraduate computer curricula and eight short-term curricula. The four computer curricula are constantly being modernized to follow closely new technologies by improving subject matters to suit current applications and situations, and by adding/dropping courses to benefit student interests. For the short-term curricula, courses offered among the curricula are mostly duplicate but there is no problem due to the high demand of students. For the studying environment, it was found that teaching staff, equipment, course materials, and spaces all need to be improved. More computer-degree teaching staff or more training for the current staff are needed. More equipment should to be acquired. Lecture rooms and laboratories should be separated and more laboratories equipped with various kinds of equipment are required so that the students are exposed to actual practices. Although the current studying environments are mostly appropriate, the number of computer-degree teaching staff, equipment, spaces, and modern course material are insufficient. This research also found that the graduates are computer-competent, well-trained, and ready for higher education. In conclusion, the computer curricula offered at Chulalongkorn University are mostly appropriate and the studying environment is at the moderate level.
