Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มุ่งศึกษาความเป็นมา การเคลื่อนไหวและการปรับตัวของขบวนการคอมมิวนิสต์ ในเขตภูพาน และผลกระทบของขบวนการคอมมิวนิสต์ที่มีต่อชีวิตชองชุมชนท้องถิ่นในเขตภูพานในช่วง พ.ศ. 2504 - 2525 จากการศึกษาพบว่า การต่อสู้ของขบวนการคอมมิวนิสต์ในเขตภูพานเกิดจากปัญหาความยากจน และปัญหาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างรัฐกับประชาชนในท้องถิ่น พรรคคอมมิวนิสต์แห่งประเทศไทย ได้ชี้ให้ชาวนา เห็นถึงปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นและเสนอทางออกด้วยการเข้าร่วมการปฏิวัติ จากการปราบปรามของรัฐบาลทำให้ ขบวนการคอมมิวนิสต์ในเขตภูพานต้องใช้รูปแบบการเคลื่อนไหวแบบ "ป่านำบ้าน" ด้วยลักษณะทาง ภูมิศาสตร์ของภูพานเอื้อต่อการเคลื่อนไหวของขบวนการคอมมิวนิสต์ทำให้การเคลื่อนไหวขยายตัวไปอย่าง กว้างขวาง แต่ขณะเดียวกันรัฐบาลก็สามารถเข้ามาปราบปรามได้ง่ายเช่นกันในช่วงที่มีการต่อสู้ด้วยกำลัง อาวุธระหว่างฝ่ายคอมมิวนิสต์กับรัฐบาลในเขตภูพาน ระหว่าง พศ. 2508 - 2525 ขบวนการคอมมิวนิสต์ก็ อาศัยป่าเขาและการสนับสนุนจากประชาชนในท้องถิ่นทำการสู้รบกับกองกำลังฝ่ายรัฐบาลจนสามารถสร้าง ผลสะเทือนต่อการปกครองของรัฐบาลในพื้นที่แถบนั้นได้ในระดับหนึ่ง แต่จากปัจจัยทั้งภายนอกและภายใน ขบวนการ ที่สำคัญความขัดแย้งภายในขบวนการคอมมิวนิสต์ไทยที่เกิดขึ้นในทศวรรษ 2520 ทำให้การต่อสู้ ของขบวนการคอมมิวนิสต์ในเขตภูพานสิ้นสุดลงใน พ.ศ. 2525

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This thesis focuses on the origin, activities and adaptation of the communist movement in Phu Phan area including the effect of the communist movement on the local way of life during the peroid 1961 - 1982. The struggle of the communist movement in this area was caused by poverty and the relationship between the state and local people. The Communist Party of Thailand was able to inform peasants as to the cause of the problem and they convinced them to resolve the problem by joining in their movement. As a result of the suppression of the government, the communist movement found a new method in their strategy that was called "Pa num ban". The geography of Phu Phan was advantageous to the movement and activities of the communists. Although, geographical advantages made the movement expands over the area, the government could easily suppress them as well. In the years 1965 - 1982, the years of war between the communists and the government, using the jungle and supported by people in the local area, the fighting of the communist movement had an effect on the power of the government in this area. Considering all the internal and external factors in the communist movement, the decisive factor was conflict within Thai communist movement organization in the 1980s which leads to the end of the communist movement in Phu Phan in 1982.
