Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการดำเนินงานในการให้บริการส่งออกชิ้นไม้สับของท่าเรือ A และ B ซึ่งเป็นท่าเรือหลัก ที่ให้บริการในการส่งออกชิ้นไม้สับของไทย เพื่อวิเคราะห์และเปรียบเทียบต้นทุนการดำเนินงานของบริษัท X ในการส่งออกชิ้นไม้สับผ่านท่าเรือ A และ B รวมทั้งกระบวนการรับสินค้าชิ้นไม้สับเข้าลานกองเก็บ และกระบวนการจ่ายสินค้าชิ้นไม้สับขนถ่ายลงเรือ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าค่าบริการของท่าเรือ A และ B ที่มีต่อการส่งออก ของบริษัท X ในช่วงเวลาระหว่าง ปี 2555-2557 ท่าเรือ A มีค่าใช้จ่ายต่อตันต่ำกว่าท่าเรือ B ทั้งนี้ได้มีการนำเอาค่าเสียเวลาของเรือในรูปของค่าปรับและเงินรางวัล (Demurrage/Despatch) มาหักลดต้นทุนด้วย ซึ่งพบว่าท่าเรือ B มีค่าใช้จ่ายสูงกว่าท่าเรือ A อยู่ประมาณ 58.63 บาทต่อตัน นอกจากนี้ผลการศึกษากระบวนการรับสินค้าชิ้นไม้สับเข้าลานกองเก็บ และกระบวนการจ่ายสินค้าชิ้นไม้สับขนถ่ายลงเรือพบว่าทั้งสองกิจกรรม ท่าเรือ A มีระยะทางของกระบวนการที่สั้นกว่าท่าเรือ B แต่ใช้เวลาในการดำเนินงานที่นานกว่าท่าเรือ B ทั้งนี้เมื่อพิจารณาประสิทธิภาพในด้านเวลาการทำงาน ของกิจกรรมการรับสินค้าชิ้นไม้สับเข้าลานกองเก็บ แล้วพบว่าท่าเรือ B ดีกว่า ท่าเรือ A ประมาณ 16 นาทีและเมื่อพิจารณาประสิทธิภาพในด้านเวลา การทำงานของกิจกรรมการจ่ายสินค้าชิ้นไม้สับขนถ่ายลงเรือ แล้วพบว่าท่าเรือ B ดีกว่า ท่าเรือ A ประมาณ 17 นาที

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The objectives this research are to study operational services of wood chips exporting at Port A and Port B which are the Thailand’s busiest and preferred port for the wood chips exports, to analyze and conduct a comparative study into Company X’s costs of exporting products through Port A and Port B including operating time at the stockpile yard and loading time. The study shows that the Company X’s cost of using Port A is lower than that of using port B. Moreover, even when Demurrage/Despatch is taken into the calculation, the overall costs of using Port A is still lower than that of Port B about 58.63 baht per ton. And the study shows that in term of the distance between the stockpile yard facility and the loading berth, Port A is shorter than that of Port B. However, Port B’s overall operating time is shorter than that of Port A. additionally, Port B’s operating time at the stockpile yard is shorter than that of Port A by 16 minutes and similarly Port B’s loading time is also better by 17 minutes.
