Abstract
วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่องการแสดงในขบวนแห่เทียนพรรษาจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นมาและรูปแบบการแสดงในขบวนแห่เทียนพรรษาจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ผู้วิจัยใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสาร งานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง การสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มตัวอย่าง และการสังเกตการณ์แบบไม่มีส่วนร่วม ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การแสดงในขบวนแห่เทียนพรรษาจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ได้มีการพัฒนามาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2444–2562 เป็นระยะเวลา 118 ปี โดยเริ่มจากการรวมตัวของชาวบ้านแห่นำเทียนพรรษาประกอบการร้องรำทำเพลงไปถวายพระสงฆ์ยังวัดพัฒนามาเป็นการแสดงหมู่เป็นชุด ๆ ในลักษณะขบวนเคลื่อนไปตามเส้นทางบนถนน โดยแบ่งการแสดงออกเป็น 2 ช่วง คือ 1. การแสดงในขบวนแห่เทียนพรรษาภาคกลางวัน จัดแสดงในวันเข้าพรรษา สามารถจำแนกรูปแบบการแสดงออกเป็น 3 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ การแสดงพื้นบ้านในลักษณะไม่ตายตัว การแสดงพื้นเมืองอีสาน และการแสดงร่วมสมัย 2. การแสดงในขบวนแห่เทียนพรรษาประกอบแสงเสียงภาคกลางคืน มีที่มาจากการนำรูปแบบขบวนแห่เทียนพรรษาภาคกลางวันมาผสมกับการแสดงแสงเสียง จัดแสดงทั้งหมด 2 วัน คือ คืนวันอาสาฬหบูชา และคืนวันเข้าพรรษา เป็นการแสดงรูปแบบพื้นเมืองอีสานประกอบการแสดงเรื่องราว เนื้อหาของการแสดงจะสัมพันธ์กับหัวข้อหลักของการแสดงที่ถูกกำหนดขึ้น การแสดงทั้ง 2 ช่วงนี้จะสะท้อนถึงประเพณี พิธีกรรม ความเชื่อ ศิลปวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่น วิถีการดำรงชีวิต การละเล่น โบราณวัตถุ และการเทิดพระเกียรติ ผ่านองค์ประกอบของการแสดง งานวิจัยฉบับนี้นอกจากจะเป็นการเผยแพร่ศิลปวัฒนธรรมเชิงพุทธศิลป์อันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของจังหวัดอุบลราชธานีแล้ว ยังเป็นประโยชน์ทางด้านการสร้างสรรค์การแสดง และด้านการศึกษาทั้งในสถาบันการศึกษาและผู้ที่ศึกษาเชิงวิชาชีพในประเทศไทยต่อไป
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
A thesis on Performances in Buddhist Lent Procession of Ubon Ratchathani Province was conducted to study history and forms of performances in the ceremony. This qualitative research was done by studying documents, related papers, interviewing sample focused groups and observation. The research found that performances in the Buddhist Lent Candles Procession in Ubon Ratchathani had been continuously developed during 2444-2562 BE or 118 years. They originated from locals’ gathering in order to parade lent candles to the temple along with dancing and singing. They were developed from sets of public group performance parading on a street in form of a procession. The performances are separated into 2 categories; 1) Daytime performances on Buddhist Lent Day can be divided into 3 kinds which are non fixed folk dance, Isan folk dance and contemporary performances, 2) Night time performances which are a mixture of daytime performances and light and sound shows on 2 occasions; Asanha Bucha night and Buddhist Lent night. The night time performances are Isan folk dance with storytelling. The performance content is related to the main themes. Both day and night performances portray traditions, rituals, beliefs, local cultures, lifestyles, plays, archaeological artifact and royal honor tribute through performance elements. This research not only promote unique traditions of Ubon Ratchathani but also enhance performance creation as well as studies in both schools and vocational learners in Thailand.
