Abstract
วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการสร้างสรรค์ละครรำชวา โดยการนำบทละครรำของไทย มาทดลองทำการจัดแสดงเป็นนาฏกรรมข้ามวัฒนธรรมจากไทยสู่อินโดนีเซีย โดยเลือกบทละครรำเรื่อง พระลอ ตอนเสี่ยงน้ำ มาเป็นต้นแบบในการศึกษาทดลองแปลงเป็นละครรำ เซินดราตารี ของราชสำนักยกยาการ์ตา เนื่องจากละครรำทั้งสองนี้มีองค์ประกอบการแสดงและมีวัฒนธรรมคล้ายคลึงกัน และมี วายังกุลิต คือหนังชวาซึ่งคล้ายหนังตะลุงก็นำมาแสดงในส่วนที่ต้องการดำเนินเรื่องที่เป็นมายาการ การแสดงใช้เวลาการแสดง 25 นาที แสดงนำโดยตัวละครสำคัญสองตัวคือพระลอกับพระนางบุญเหลือ คือมารดาของพระลอ มีการประพันธ์บทเป็นภาษาอินโดนีเซีย จึงตั้งชื่อการแสดงตอนนี้ว่า มาตุยะ เมตตา แปลว่า ความรักของมารดา ใช้วงดนตรี เครื่องแต่งกายและการรำตามจารีตของราชสำนักยกยาการ์ตา โดยแทรกท่ารำทำบทของไทยในบางแห่งที่เหมาะสมเพื่อให้มีกลิ่นอายของไทย ผลการวิจัยพบว่าการทดลองสร้างสรรค์ละครรำชวาเรื่อง พระลอ ตอน มาตุยะ เมตตา ได้ประสบความสำเร็จ โดยมีผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ นักวิชาการ ผู้ร่วมงานและคนดู ทั้งฝ่ายไทยและอินโดนีเซีย ได้รับความรู้ความเข้าใจ ความพึงพอใจและให้ความเห็นชอบ ทั้งนี้เป็นเพราะวัฒนธรรมและจารีตการแสดงละครรำแบบราชสำนักของไทยและของยกยาการ์ตาคล้ายคลึงกันมาก ทั้งโดยเนื้อเรื่อง บุคลิกลักษณะของตัวละคร ประเพณีและความเชื่อในเรื่องจิตวิญญาณ ตลอดจนการร้อง การรำ การดำเนินเรื่อง จึงทำให้การแสดงข้ามวัฒนธรรมเป็นไปได้ด้วยดี จึงสมควรมีการทำวิจัยทดลองสร้างสรรค์เช่นนี้เพื่อต่อยอดให้เสร็จสมบูรณ์ตามท้องเรื่องของพระลอ และสามารถนำแนวทางจากข้อค้นพบในวิทยานิพนธ์นี้ไปพัฒนาและทดลองสร้างสรรค์นาฏกรรมข้ามวัฒนธรรมชาติอื่นๆ ได้อย่างเหมาะสม เพื่อความก้าวหน้าของวงวิชาการนาฏยศิลป์ต่อไปในอนาคต
Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)
This thesis aims at studying the possibility to creatively produce a Javanese dance drama based upon a Thai dramatic literature as a cross culture performance from Thailand to Indonesia. Phra Lor on the Siang Nam episode as a dance drama is selected as the subject for adaptation into Sendratari, a dance drama of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Wayang Kulit or a Javanese puppet shadow similar to Nang Talung is also used to present in the scenes. The performance is about 25 minutes performed by two main characters Prince Phra Lor and Boon Leua, the Queen Mother. The script is composed in Javanese language with Matuya Metta as a performance name which means the mother’s love. Music, costume and movements are based upon the Yogyanese tradition with some Thai elements are employed to give a Thai flavor. The research found that the creative experimentation of producing a Javanese dance drama based on Phra Lor is successful since it has a similarity in dramatic literature, characters, and mythology along with their style of singing, dancing and play development. Thus, the experimental creative research should be conducted in order to complete the full version of Phra Lor and could be developed and experimented to produce more appropriate cross-culture performances with other nations in order to enhance the academic of performing arts in the future.
