Bovine Melioidosis : A case report

Abstract

The frozen specimens of a 2-year-old cattle from Khonkaen were submitted to Northeast Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory Centre, Tha Pra, Khonkaen in November 1982. Pathological examination was performed and encapsulated abscesses were found in the lung, liver, spleen and kidney. Pseudomonas pseudomallei was cultured from such organs.
