Abstract

In accepting an invitation to write an article in memory of M.L. Boonlua Debyasuvarn, I have been led by my lasting desire to clear the air and bridge the generation gap between myth and reality of English language teaching in Thailand. This issue was one of the major concerns in M.L. Boonlua's life.
