Abstract

ได้ทำการศึกษาไมโอติกโครโมโซมของหอยทากบก 3 ครอบครัว 8 สปีชีส์จากเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าเขาอ่างฤๅไนและเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าเขาสอยดาว โดยเตรียมโครโมโซมจากเนื้อเยื่อ ovotestis โดยเทคนิค warm-drying ผลการศึกษาพบว่าจำนวนดิพพลอยด์โครโมโซมของหอย ครอบครัว Ariophantidae มีค่าระหว่าง 16-60 โดยหอยชนิด Macrochlamys hepbagyla มีค่า 2n=20 ประกอบด้วยโครโมโซมชนิด metacentric 5 คู่ ชนิด submetacentric 1 คู่ และชนิด telocentric 4 คู่ หอยชนิด M. splendens มีค่า 2n=20 ประกอบด้วยโครโมโซมชนิด metacentric 8 คู่ และชนิด submetacentric 2 คู่ หอยชนิด Hemiplecta distincta มีค่า 2n=60 ประกอบด้วยโครโมโซมขนาดใหญ่ 9 คู่ และโครโมโซมขนาดเล็ก 21 คู่ หอยชนิด H. weinkauffiana มีค่า 2n=58 หอยชนิด Dyakia salangana มีค่า 2n=50-54 หอยชนิด Crytozona siamensis มีค่า 2n=16 ประกอบด้วยโครโมโซมชนิด metacentric 4 คู่ ชนิด submetacentric 1 คู่ ชนิด subtelocentric 1 คู่ และชนิด telocentric 2 คู่ ในครอบครัว Camaenidae ศึกษา 1 สปีชีห์คือ Amphidromus atricallosus แบบ A และ B โดยจำนวนดิพพลอยด์โครโมโซมของแบบ A มีค่าเท่ากับ 48 ประกอบด้วยโครโมโซมชนิด metacentric 5 คู่ ชนิด submetacentric 6 คู่ชนิด subtelocentric 2 คู่ และชนิด telocentric 11 คู่ ส่วน A. atricallosus แบบ B มีค่าดิพพลอยด์ระหว่าง 48-50 ในครอบครัว Achatinidae ศึกษา 1 สปีชีส์ คือ Achatina fulica มีค่าดิพพลอยด์โครโมโซมเท่ากับ 30 ประกอบด้วยโครโมโซมขนาดใหญ่ 8 คู่ และโครโมโซมขนาดเล็ก 7 คู่ การศึกษาคาริโอไทป์นั้นทำให้การจำแนกสปีชีส์ของหอยทากบกมีความสมบูรณ์ยิ่งขึ้นดังเช่น หอยทากบก Macrochlamy hepbagly และ M. splendens ซึ่งมีค่าจำนวนดิพพลอยด์โครโมโซมเท่ากันแต่สามารถจำแนกได้ชัดเจนด้วยคาริโอไทป์ และการศึกษาครั้งนี้พบว่าจำนวนโครโมโซมของหอยทากบกบางสปีชีส์มีค่าแตกต่างจากรายงานที่ผ่าน ๆ มา ได้แก่ครอบครัว Ariophantidae (Cryptozona siamensis) ครอบครัว Achatinidae (Achatina fulica)

The meiotic chromosomes from ovotestis of 8 species from 3 families of land pulmonate snails from Khao Ang Rue Nai and Khao Soi Dao wildlife sanctuaries were analyzed using warm-drying techniques. The diploid chromosome numbers of the Family Ariophantidae are between 16-60 (Macrochlamys hepbagyla, 2n=20 with 5 metacentric pairs, 1 submetacentric pair and 4 telocentric pairs; M. splendens, 2n=20 with 8 metacentric pairs and 2 submetacentric pairs; Hemiplecta distincta, 2n=60 witj 9 pairs of large chromosomes and 21 pairs of small chromosomes; H. weinkauffiana, 2n=58; Dyakia salangana, 2n=50-54; Cryptozona siamensis, 2n=16 with 4 metacentric pairs, 1 submetacentric pair, 1 subtelocentric pair and 2 telocentric pairs). In Camaenidae, only one species of snail, Amphidromus atricallosus types A and B, was investigated. The diploid number of type A is 48 with 5 metacentric pairs, 6 submetacentric pairs, 2 subtelocentric pairs and 11 telocentric pairs while the type B diploid number is in the range of 48-50. In Achatinidae, Achatina fulica was studied. The diploid chromosome number is 30 with 8 pairs of large chromosomes and 7 pairs of small chromosomes. Karyotype analysis can ease the difficulty of snail identification. For example, Macrochalamys hepbagyla and M. splendens, with the same diploid number, are distinctly discriminated by karyotype. This study found different chromosome numbers for two families [Family Ariphantidae (Cryptozona siamensis), Family Achatinidae (Achatina fulica)] that reported formerly.
